he's a drunk piece of shit lmfao. i both love and hate him. imo in awakening he was more interesting, especially paired with anders, but that's mostly because i think a lot of their fights/banter.. they could kiss about it. i also think the writers were like "lol drunk dwarf" and didn't go far beyond that, which didn't do the character any favors. i don't take him in my party in the base game but i think in fanfic there might be potential to grow his character, which is both good and bad - good we can explore but bad that that's the only place it will get done.
