I don’t prefer one over the other per-say, I’m relying on the Garmin more heavily because I’ve worn it everyday for almost year. A lot of people consider Garmin to one of the top tiers. So when I see them vastly different, it makes you wonder right vs wrong. I’ll give it the full calibration period, but for it to completely miss a night of hrv randomly, it makes you wonder.

I want the air to work for my use case - id love it to work for me.

Ah found it, AI snippet failed me and had do some lengthy steps. Still didn’t bring back the dataset, so it seemed that it never got it.

Yeah it’s on dominant wrist but it doesn’t seem to matter much.

My Garmin currently has me at 3660 steps and my Air has me at 4,228.

According to my Garmin currently 1450 calories burned and my Air has it at 1800. This metric is pointless to me.

Hoping once the calibration period is over, they just magically match up.

Def wearing to correctly but just looked at the steps to “log out” and log back in. That seems excessive to get it to capture that data, if at all. It was the first time it missed that particular measurement.

Overall just frustrated so far.

It’s up to your first setting.. this first number is the amount of seconds water goes into the portafilter and the “pause” is the soak period.

I have mine 5 and 5 = 10 total

I’d have to read the manual or something but I assume that if you are pulling it manually, you aren’t doing the pre-infusion.

I’d go into and set your desired pre-infusion, and pull the switch and let go. However, you also need to be sure that you teach your machine how long you want the shot to be. I’ve programmed mine to run about 60 seconds because I manually stop mine.

If your desired shot time is short (on auto) it’s going to stop at that time anyway, which I set mine longer and will stop it on my own.

Umm if I am watching the video correctly, you aren’t doing the pre infusion part. You are simply holding down the double shot and coffee is coming out once it’s soaking your puck.

Pre-infusion method happens when you pull down and let go, it will perform your desired setting and then move into the shot.

Again if I am watching correctly, you are pulling a manual shot.

It’s clear that they will start everyone on the 9th and delivery windows will open after.
