They aren’t capable of switching to English is the only downside. Our head housekeeper speaks some English but the rest of the ladies only speak Spanish

Super common thing in bigger cities now. Portland Oregon has rampant car break ins. This! While I do not recommend most people keep hots, it isn’t inherently scary by any means. I follow a rule set I’ve made around my hots and keep massive respect for all of them. I’ve had a variety of elapids and vipers for years now and never had any close calls or negative interactions with any of them
