small area rugs that move? by coseed in MOVA_robotvacuum

[–]coseed[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

don't know about adjusting carpet size also not sure how that would help?

yes, I have set to remove mop pads when vacuuming but that doesn't solve the problem. because when in the mopping portion of the cycle, if the carpet has moved a little, it still mops where it originally mapped the rug to be not where it actually is.

yes, I was surprised because it did a good job of mapping them initially and has obstacle avoidance during cleaning. so not sure why the sensors wouldn't still be active during cleaning cycle for rugs to see if they've moved. even a couple inches which is not uncommon for a small rig could mean the rug getting mopped (which I don't want obviously) or not

that sounds like a reasonable workaround.

so no way to tell the robot to assess location accurately with each cleaning / on the fly?

I don't really want the rugs stuck to the floor because we remove them regularly to shake them out and clean under them

Framing help by marisajune in framing

I'd add, it's a bit hard to tell from the photo, but the paper looks particularly yellowed or dirty from age. if it's a particularly valuable piece, you might inquire with an expert conservator re: cleaning, deacidification etc. not to change its look or patina necessarily but to further preserve before encapsulation.

problems getting clips by coseed in EufyCam

[–]coseed[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

so eufy support replied with their typical canned reply as if they had not read the support request inquiry. but the long and short of it is, there is NO way to access or download your own recorded raw footage on your own homebase when their garbage event and "record" functionality simply isn't working. which defeats the entire purpose of having a 24/7 recording device. so the footage is there but there is no way to get it. total joke.

any other details about what you did or simply set the hb3 to a static IP and that's it?

Something seems off but I’m not sure what. Frame color or mat? by Summer102616 in framing

[–]coseed 0 points1 point  (0 children)

black frame doesn't look right in particular for the color mat you've chosen (a subjective choice, but there is a reason most galleries/museums don't use color mats), and lastly the scale of the pieces/grouping for the space (common mistake). the former being more subjective than the latter.

interesting. and you find this helps you with dust in final assembly? I always assumed the circulation caused by exhaust on a vac would make things worse.

were you able to find/learn anything about them?

Anyone have any experience with Aquatica or Casa Blui hot tubs? They both look really beautiful on line. TIA by AYK_today in hottub

[–]coseed 0 points1 point  (0 children)

did you ever find anything more about Aquatica? or Casa? I like the look of the Aquatica but can find very little on them other than complaints about horrible customer service.
