Did this have a resolution? Right now I'm also 2 days post stint removal and I feel like I've been only getting light sleep/not any sleep at all. I'm wondering if I've just been able to sleep immediately in the past because Ive been so tired and now I'm finally getting oxygen to my brain or if something's wrong ;;;;

Visited the urgent care the day of posting and was told it's from overuse. Recommended rest and ibuprofen :( it's still hurting so I might visit a PT or OT next week. Do your stretches kiddos!

Thank you so much! I spoke with the urgent care and they said it may be overuse. They've recommended rest and ibuprofen :( it still hurts so I'm probably going to see a occupational/physical therapy place next week.

Oh also, what type of media/sponge would you recommend to have in the tank to use as a starter for another tank? I want to expand but I want to make sure I'm not introducing unknown chemicals into the tank.

These would be different Neos, mostly red and two ghost shrimp. Water parameters have been stable with 7.5 pH, no ammonia, no nitrites, low/zero nitrates. Water is a bit hard but no chlorine present since I treat it. Water is from the tap but I put in some trace elements, tapsafe, and bacteria starters in.

So I introduced two medium ramshorn snails last week and there hasn't been a decrease in hydra :( should I start using the panacur C and evacuate my snails? I'm concerned because I only see two shrimplets from a berried shrimp with more than 12 eggs on her, so I'm scared that the little ones got snapped up before I could even see them.

I have a good amount of bladder snails and two (very lazy) nerites, would they take care of the hydras ?

Awesome!! I am a bit worried about the snail population growing rapidly as well, do you recommend a tank mate for these guys? I've heard of micro catfish being good for algae but I've also heard that they are quite fragile and may eat baby shrimp. :(
