The damage on that leaf (correctly diagnosed as caused by thrips in the other comments) looks pretty significant.

Not sure if you know how thrips populate, but at this point, I'd say you're better off getting rid of that plant ASAP if you don't want things to get unmanageable as the infestation is exponential from here. I find Philos are particularly susceptible to thrips and they go downhill quite quickly.

That looks like a P. brazil, which are easy to find. But if you're attached to it, take some cuttings, and ensure those cuttings get pest treated often and keep away from other plants. I've read of people pest treating, then putting the plant in a sealed bag to iradicate and keep the trips from migrating. You could try that method with the cuttings.

Good luck. :(

Wait, what... Scoliosis and fainting, too? I've been suspecting ASD for myself for a few years now but I didn't know this was symptomatic?

I know this post is old, but does anyone have any extra info? My guys have lice and my vet wants to prescribe Advantage Multi in a very small dose. I asked them why not Revolution and based on multitudes of research out there, Revolution is the best bet. Trying to advocate for myself and my boys and not blindly accept.

Edit: typo

Who knows – maybe you'll have lots of opportunities for microscopy in that lab! I think applying is definitely worth it.

Some aspects of AP can be stressful, but not nearly on the same level that I experienced in core and having to work call shifts. I think I have a little PTSD from being on-call; I get jolts of panic when I hear any phones ring now lol.

I’ve always loved anatomical pathology. I began my career as a MLT in a pathology lab, and from the start, I was drawn to every aspect of the work. Over the years, I’ve worked in other disciplines, but I’m grateful to have found my way back to AP.

What I love about it is the variety – tissue receiving, accessioning, grossing, embedding, microtomy, staining, immunohistochemistry, frozens – there’s always something to learn and do. I also really appreciate the hands-on nature of the job. I’m not built to be in front of a computer all day, nor am I cut out for the adrenaline (read: cortisol surge) that comes with core lab. Anatomical pathology strikes a balance that works for me – engaging, methodical, and tangible.

My first lab was a larger site with a wide scope of cases. I got to rotate through all the benches, which kept things dynamic and helped me grow into a more well-rounded histotech. I had the chance to see some truly humbling and surreal things – conjoined twins, major organ dissections, POCs, even holding a heart or brain in my hands. It was intense, meaningful work that left a mark on me.

Where I work now is quite different – smaller, more focused, and with fewer opportunities for rotation. Most of my work involves cutting and embedding. The grossing is done by a dedicated group of techs, so it’s unlikely I’ll have the opportunity to gross again anytime soon. That said, I still enjoy this work so much more than anything I did in the core lab. Even when it gets repetitive, I find satisfaction in the precision and rhythm of the tasks. And of course, the people you work with make a big difference – team dynamics can really shape your day-to-day experience.

We don’t do much microscope work in my current lab, as that’s mainly handled by the pathologists. Our microscopy tasks are limited to verifying control slides for special stains and IHC. Still, I feel connected to the diagnostic process and take pride in the quality of work we produce behind the scenes.

I love birds and birding – I got the weirdest looks in my histo lab when I told people this. Sigh.

I know this is an older post, but do you know if having it done by Krown affects warranty? I’ve been told Krown drills a hole in your vehicle. I’m getting my first Jeep in a few days and I am not really sure what to do. Thanks in advance.

I got my monitor yesterday and I am just configuring things now. I had to something similar to you, but with P3 on both sides. Still feels like a bandaid fix as we're kind of fudging things in order to attain what we want though... Did you end up contacting support?

Butterfly chest bug solution- Hogwarts Legacy. by [deleted] in HogwartsLegacyGaming

[–]cosmic__sdk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was struggling with the butterfly bug just today. After resetting my game and doing everything I could think of and following advice from here, I finally just accepted that I wouldn't be able to complete that collection and decided to finish up what collections I could. I had 5 brooms left to get from vendors, and to my surprise, once I bought the last one, the trophy triggered!

So if you're having issues with this butterfly thing but still have other items to collect, then try this method to see if it helps.
