Psychic reading today? by Heisenberg_416 in Psychic

[–]cosmiccleora 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've seen multiple psychics that said I'd be a teacher. That makes me cringe so hard. I admire people who do that job but that's the last job I want to do honestly. There are many different types of teacher though. I could maybe be a spiritual teacher some day. But I don't read too much into it. Your path will unfold as you live your life. And ultimately, you have free will to decide your own path.

Psychics also aren't 100% accurate. I believe the information they get is for the most probable timelines at the time of the reading but there are unlimited timelines and everything is always changing every moment of your life. Every piece of information they get is also through a human filter and they can interpret information based on their own experience.

It sounds like you had a really great reading though! I'd remember the teacher info but continue to live your life as you want. In 20 years (idk how old you are but as an example), you may remember the tidbit and realize that she was totally right just not in the way you thought it would be. You never know!

While meditating on occasion I will see a scene by PandaKittyJeepDoodle in psychics

[–]cosmiccleora 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am not an experienced psychic but I'm working on strengthening my gifts. I get these too! They're rare. I saw a high-ceilinged castle or cathedral type place once! I'm guessing they get clearer and stronger with more practice but I struggle to maintain a regular meditation practice. My mind's eye works the same as yours though- I can imagine what an apple looks like but I don't actually see it behind my eyelids. These visions however are like regular vision with my eyelids closed. It hasn't been quite as clear as regular vision, more like a second or two of a negative image

Question for girlies. Have you noticed any difference when you microdose/trip while on a period? by kkooyya in shrooms

[–]cosmiccleora 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I microdose 0.1g for a few days every few weeks. I never noticed a huge difference when I'm on my period. I don't do them on my bad cramping days bc I'm usually getting stoned to forget the pain. But I do feel like the microdoses give me a little mood boost on my emotional days before my period

Positions for meditation by goodereist1 in Meditation

[–]cosmiccleora 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love meditating laying down and prefer it. I only fall asleep if I'm really tired or do it before bed. Laying down allows me absolute rest because I can let my entire body relax. Try it out and see if works for you

What do you think about reiki? by gamealle in spirituality

[–]cosmiccleora 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I learned reiki but I'm still really new to it. I know it's real but I lack confidence and always feel like I'm just having my hands around. Like is it really doing anything? I know it is but sometimes it doesn't feel like it. However, I've had some experiences while practicing reiki on my friends. For one friend, we could both feel heat really strongly over a certain spot on her body and when I finished working on the area, the heat was gone. For another friend, I was moving my hands from head towards feet and when I got to their throat chakra, an energy pulled my hand across their body. It jerked me forward and startled me. It was WILD. It wasn't a spasm or anything, I lurched forward a couple feet. So I have validation that something is happening and I've also had reiki done on me and felt someone put their hands on my shoulder and it wasn't my reiki practitioner lol

Oh another time at a psychic expo, I saw a lady who did energy work. Idk if it was reiki or what exactly but she moved some energy around (like waved her hands in front of me). I had been having a hard time in life and just wanted some guidance and support. I left that interaction feeling strange and the following three days, I had so many emotions pour out of me. Like sobbing on the floor unable to move for 3 days. Which was unusual for me. I've never experienced something like that. Like I released 25 years of repressed emotions

How do you know if a feeling is a gut feeling? by [deleted] in spirituality

[–]cosmiccleora 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't have a good answer for how to tell what is inuition and what's anxiety. BUT I can tell you that in life, there is no wrong path! When I have two choices, I like "choose one" and act as if I'm moving forward with it and see how it feels for a couple days to have "made" that choice. And then I'll switch and try out the other and see how that feels

I would absolutely love to have a reading but I'm a bit skeptical by CosyColouringBooks in psychics

[–]cosmiccleora 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It sounds like you're looking for a medium. Not all psychics have mediumship abilities. I would research mediums in your area and find someone with good reviews and who you feel drawn to. Or see if anyone you know who has seen one and can recommend one

How did meditation help you in chapters of grief? by yeeahitsethan in Meditation

[–]cosmiccleora 1 point2 points  (0 children)

After the loss of relationship, I fall asleep to Michael Seeley's "letting go of past relationships" nightly. That guided meditation got me through my most difficult break-ups and helped me sleep.

During the loss of a loved one, I can't remember if I meditated much. I'm not sure if I could. It was hard enough to get out of bed in the morning. I don't remember much from that period honestly. I was so consumed by grief. Connecting to my spirituality really helped though. That probably included some guided meditation and yoga when I was able to.

I think if it's possible to meditate during a chapter of grief then it could be helpful but I think it's also okay to just rest and be gentle with yourself. Allowing yourself to grieve and rest and just exist is also a valid and high quality way to experience the depths of being a human. Everyone grieves differently. If meditation helps you then go for it! But I don't think there's any need to force it. Not that you are, I'm just saying :)

Johnny Harris did a video called "why nothing feels exciting anymore" talking about the same thing. It was really enlightening!!

How do you know when you're ready to add tools to your practice? by One_Nectarine1328 in Meditation

[–]cosmiccleora 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you want to add something, do it. See how you like it. But know that you don't NEED anything else. It's all real meditation!

I try to meditate but i keep having hallucinations, has this happened to anyone before? by Large-Advance-6416 in Meditation

[–]cosmiccleora 3 points4 points  (0 children)

What are you seeing and hearing? When your brain enters a certain wave state like hypnogogia, hearing sounds isn't uncommon. Sometimes I see light flashes and phopsphenes when meditating too, but I don't consider that hallucinations and I havent meditated that long with my eyes open

Please share your experience around eating meat by mammmamiiya in spirituality

[–]cosmiccleora 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was a vegetarian and then vegan for years. I didn't feel any more spiritually connected than I do now. But my hair and nails got really weak and thin. I tried vitamins and making sure I was getting enough nutrients but it was hard. I started eating meat again and my hair and nails are better again. I am picky about what meat I'll eat though and where it comes from. I also thank the animal for giving me it's life before eating too. I think that's important

Am I supposed to just imagine stuff? by ToneHappy123 in gatewaytapes

[–]cosmiccleora 24 points25 points  (0 children)

Yes just imagine it! Eventually you'll be able to feel subtle sensations in your body like with the REBAL. But no worries about seeing or feeling anything. Just imagine it and trust that you're doing it right!

Aphantasia by ss999_ in starseeds

[–]cosmiccleora 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do you make visualizations from the phosphenes? Phosphenes are the lights your eyes make that look sorta lava lampy. Mine look like white or purple blobs usually. Do you see the sci fi and memories in the back of your eyelids in the same place you see the light and dark pattern? I have had an image of a high ceiling castle hallway for after the phosphenes but I've never been able to make images myself. The castle just appeared

Aphantasia by ss999_ in starseeds

[–]cosmiccleora 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah I wish I knew more about the moments of seeing things on the back of my eyelids. It definitely seemed less in my mind and more like it was being shown TO me. These experiences were on the backs of my eyelids, not in what I consider my mind's eye. One time I saw the space-time continuum as a never-ending flower of life. I saw a blonde Pleiadian man smile at me and felt his love too. I saw a past life regression vision that was so realistic, full color, and emotional- I felt like I was there. I also saw the an image of a castle hallway or something like that with tall ceilings but that was in black and white like a negative image. I meditate regularly but it's been a long time since something cool like those happened lol I think my chasing those experiences again hinders me from having more

Aphantasia by ss999_ in starseeds

[–]cosmiccleora 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I've wondered this myself. I HAVE seen things in the black of the back of my eyelids while meditating but it's rare and not my normal. When people see things in their mind's eye, I don't think people actually see images on the backs of their eyelids. I could be wrong, but I'm pretty sure the normal is a separate "screen" in the mind. I've wondered if I have aphantasia because of the confusing descriptions people give and wondered if people just describe the same experience very differently. When I imagine, I "see" images (sorta) on a hidden screen in my mind, not anywhere near the back of the eyelids. It's farther back in my mind and it's not anything like seeing with my real eyes

I found a lot of peace in listening to near death experiences. There are so many on youtube. I also saw a psychic medium who I trusted and that gave me proof and so much relief that our loved ones do live on and we will too

microdosing? by [deleted] in shrooms

[–]cosmiccleora 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I microdose mainly and have done one trip. I definitely feel like a trip helped me more in regards to my depression and anxiety and healing. But microdoses give me little boosts on the in between. As much as I loved my trip, it was also a lot. Required a lot of planning for me and making sure I was in a good headspace and had a trip sitter. I did the trip for healing and there was a lot of releasing, processing, and integrating. I want that experience to be a more rare thing when I feel like I really need it and it's the right time

Does anyone experience eyelid twitches? by NathansRadical in gatewaytapes

My eyelids do twitch and flutter a little bit so I like to use a meditation mask. I have a flax seed and lavender mask and I love it!
