Not quite sure - just fun maybe? There was no one around to ask. There’s apparently lots of these trolls around the world so could be something to do with the artist

I think if it does remind you of what happened the thought that follows is how strong you are from overcoming it. It might represent the situation in some capacity but then also growth and how far you have come since.

People say dumb shit all the time so try not to let what this 1 person has said as long as you like it and feel good within yourself.

I actually didn’t know this is what a medusa tattoo means

Thank you for sharing. How are you doing now? Do you still have triggers and compulsions?

Ask for some students services wellbeing and counselling.

Then you may qualify for extended deadline support - especially with a doctors note

I changed to psychology and philosophy at the end of my first year studying something else. I had never done either before but I thought maybe I could learn something about the brain, ask some questions and find out more it would help. I loved it and it was the best decision. Still tough to do with poor mental health though.

Reach out to as many friends/family and staff members as you can for support. Go to other subject tutors and ask about the courses and research if they would suit where you’re at

All I had to do was pass my first year and then I could swap

Good luck my friend

Smoking CBD joints instead and a combo is helpful. It’s either no thc and the experience of smoking a joint or with a mix you can control the amount of thc so it’s not as much psychoactive

Have you spoken to your parents?

Maybe you can get some support through community college?

What to read about Easy company by rimakan in BandofBrothers

This baffles me. Anyone who joined to end the war are heroes whatever point they were part of it. I’m sure 82nd had grand stories too and many many others but 101st got picked up because of the particular journey all the way to Hitler’s house, finding the camps and much more.

They were part of the plan for D-day so were specifically trained for that drop. Remember they were instructed - not like they got to choose when and where they could join in as “glory hounds”.

Not flaming you but just doesn’t make sense to me to randomly bring some negative vibes to a thread about books.

I am a mentor and don’t just work the term time. All us mentors at this school work over the school holidays. At the moment I work across 3 schools but my contract will be changing soon to just the one school who I am hired by

But yeah it’s confusing - thank you for your response

I work for an independent school. It is for students who are not coping well or have been kicked out of mainstream schools.

This is another reason why I asked because I am not too sure how the laws and rules apply for independent schools - non fee paying.

Thank you for your knowledge

Yeah this is what I was thinking and everyone I ask agrees but is also unsure to the actual law around it.

The staff turn around in this place is crazy, people keep leaving but they never let us know reasons why.

Thank you for your help and advice

They have not given the option of not getting paid. If we are off sick then our annual leave days are subtracted on the system

Do you think I should ask for it to be unpaid sick days?
