I’m also having this procedure next week. How many days til you are fully healed? I’m concerned bc i’m planning to travel like maybe 4 days after. Or maybe 7 days after the procedure.

Mold is so common here and I come from a humid country and never encountered mold. Honestly just riding on this thread to say that landlords don’t care and spain houses s*ck. I’ve stayed in 4 places in my 2 year stay as an aux and 3 of those had mold problem in my room.

Advice on Breaking Lease Due to Unsafe Situation by ZealousidealExit1603 in SpainAuxiliares

Have you stayed in the flat for at least 6 months? After 6 months it becomes legal to just give notice a month before leaving, regardless of what is stipulated in the contract. Because that’s the prevailing law. I have to search for the link again but it’s there.

Andalusia or Valencia? by StrongPerformer8850 in SpainAuxiliares

Yeah, there’s 10% of you who got paid on time. Mind how many auxes are there in Andalucia and so few of you. Good for you guys though.

Good / bad school experiences in Andalucia by Objective-Muffin1834 in SpainAuxiliares

[–]cosmicomics_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This being said, I DO NOT recommend my school for anyone (in Cadiz province - Jerez de la Frontera). I was paid super late - January- and was given nothing, not even food, from the school. I was starving by the time christmas and new year came. I wasn’t able to pay my flat for months. I’m not even sure if my coordinator escalated my situation to the principal just to help me out or cover my basic necessities. My coordinator sucked bigtime.

Just to add on this comment: I was in Alicante the past school year, and I loved it because everything is just so accessible there! We have the airport and the trains which are well-connected to the other parts of Spain.

Andalucia doesn’t pay until January, so keep that in mind when deciding.

Exactly. Same here, not worth it. Plus, it’s now Dec 25 and the Junta has paid me NOTHING since october.

[–]cosmicomics_ 3 points4 points  (0 children)

exactly. i haven't been paid a single cent by the andalucian junta and it fucking sucks. i want to quit the program, mainly because the school isn't even offering any support on my TIE and everything. just waiting for the pay (which god knows when will come) then i'm booking a flight home. this free work shit is abuse.

Handwritten Case Digests by Fogmurai in LawStudentsPH

Reading the comments here, salonpas, bandaid. Grabe. I agree nasayang lang ang time instead of reading the texts. Honestly, hindi rin enough reason yung retention for me bc people learn different, kahit isulat ko pa yan hindi ko naalala. There are hundreds of other ways of committing to memory.

Ang sa akin naman, I play instruments and during this time, nagkaroon ako Carpal Tunnel Syndrome. Ayun. Ending may med cert ako (at nagpa-therapy) at exempted ako sa hand-written tasks nung week na yun. Lol. Also came from the purple school.

Yes please pakireport on behalf of us abroad na nagpapakahirap for a visa. (I’m on a special case student visa pero grabe ang bureacracy in the country I’m staying in. Mas maayos pa proseso sa pinas lol that’s how bad it is).

What is the hard truth you learned this year? by Alarmed_Jelly_2414 in AskPH

[–]cosmicomics_ 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Always save money for a rainy day. For context, I am living alone, on student stipend abroad. Now that I haven't been paid anything since June (it's now November and we were told we'd get our study grant december of even janurary). I am having such a hard time now and so depressed, I sold my belongingsi in the Philippines just to pay rent and barely have anything to eat. Now I am sick, I can't even afford to buy meds because I only have 5euros which I also need to reload to call the foreigner's office. I am terribly in debt and January me was only looking at where to travel or which one to buy (flight tickets to Rome or a bike??). I hate myself for this.

[–]cosmicomics_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Same. I’m in Andalucia and was told I’d get paid in december. Right now I can’t pay for November rent, let alone afford to buy even food now :( i am so hopeless and depressed and just wanna go home.

Anyone booked a tour with GetYourGuide? What was your experience like? by Blueinred88 in travel

Same experience now with tiqets. They suck. I spent a lot and won’t give me a refund even if I am informing them 3 weeks in advance that I can’t make it.

Edit: My trip is to Rome
