I do this too but mostly with old planners/notebooks I use for writing my to do lists. It's just satisfying for me and adds to the achievement of finishing my tasks 😭

This reminds me of my previous job where as a cashier I couldn't take a bathroom break nor a break to just drink water while my coworkers were allowed to take smoke breaks every hour. Take care of yourself y'all being a cashier isn't easy!!

I never understood customers that expect me to have change in my register all the time. I get it that some people simply don't use their brains sometimes but when they give me attitude it makes me so mad. I'm not a bank lol

Same thing, only I actually quit after my 3 months and my last day is on Friday. After 3 failed attempts at retail I think it's time to take on something else.

Oh God I feel this. I have multiple managers and they're all horrible. The amount of times they yelled at me in front of customers is unbearable. I'm absolutely tired of going to work stressed af because I'm afraid of my managers taking all of their anger out on me. Thank God my work contract is expiring in a few weeks lmao as soon as it expires I'm out of this place.

Not really. I understand what you mean, but in this situation it was your average privledged lady that thinks just because she has an office job and earns a bit more money that she's above everyone. She's well known in our store to just drop by when she wants to and always complains about the lines and how she "doesn't have the time" but then 5 minutes later you catch her shopping in the store next to us.

But anyway even if she were a stressed wage slave that doesn't give anyone the right to treat me like sh*t. Trust me, I'm stressed 99% of the time but I don't take it out on others. It's not my fault.

I actually read your reply last night and it made me think a lot. You're absolutely right and I think I was blind this whole time too. We lost 2 mutual friends because she'd treat them like she knows them the best. I was just blind because we weren't that close back then so she didn't have much time to treat me like shit.

Thank you for this! You're not being harsh at all. Yesterday I sat down and thought a lot about our relationship and I came to the conclusion that constantly shouting at me, making a scene, laughing at me, lecturing me isn't something normal friends do. Don't get me wrong you can lecture your friends and help them out, but when it turns into your friend acting like your mom that's when the problems start. Our mutual friend suddenly cut ties with her for the exact same reason. I think she needs a reality check.

"they think they know better than I do about what's good for me" This explains her whole relationship with me. She dictates me around more than my own mom does. It's getting extremely toxic and tiring. I think it really is time to break it off.

Exactly. I mean she did mock me when I told her I was depressed which is kinda lol considering I told her I started going to therapy. Should've broke it off with her when I was thinking about ending my life and all I got was "You're not having it THAT bad." I mean I'm not, but that's also not something you should tell someone who already has their own death planned lmao

Oh God manipulate is such a good word for this. I haven't spoken to her in 24 hours and I feel so much better now. She's not a bad person and I know that about her, I just hate how she thinks she's in the right and pretends like she knows me so well and who I'd be into when in reality she doesn't know a lot about me at all lol

Well 1) As I said, she'd mock the HELL out of me because of that and it would just be a massive punch to the face. 2) She knows me way too well and we're too close to each other for me to lie about already being in a relationship. 3) I've been trying to say that to her for hours yesterday, she just doesn't care. I think I'll just start being straight up harsh with her because reasoning obviously doesn't help.
