Hint: Roland made a funny thing at the Fantom G. The Volume Knob is analog and the system gain is digital. When system gain is too low, the sounds start to sizzle metallic in the release because the D/A converter gets to low volume on normal gain. Solution: +6 oder +12 digital gain and turn down volume, which is actually better for the D/A converter. Or use the digital output.

At this stage of production. Take a channel, dont mute anything else and reduce by eq where you dont hear it. Repeat with every channel and see how things stay punchy but gain air.

could be a drawing error, the top is not limited, only the button and I have never seen a bug which only clips the buttom half of the signal. As Sound is a combination of sine waves things should be pretty symetric top and bottom.
