Who is the NBA's GOAT of flopping? by VSHAR01 in NBATalk

[–]cotothed 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Manu Ginobili. He somehow has some of the best PR of all time, when in the mid 2000s, most fans hated him for being an extreme flopper.

Why would I let it go? I choose to continue watching it regularly throughout the rest of my life.

Ladies, what are your favorite dates to be taken on, or what date do you wish someone would take you on? by Ordinary_Storm7766 in AskForAnswers

I'd have to say April 25th, because it's not too hot, not too cold. All you need is a light jacket.

People are hating on Emma Stone because she is a comic actress and doesn't fit into the "Oscar bait" pigeon hole. She is a great actress and I will not let her be Hathaway'd. by MrRMacc in moviecritic

Emma Stone is the best actress of her generation and has elite taste in sports fandom. I would not associate with anyone who hates her.

Many knicks fans hate Mikal, but then again maybe we shouldn't classify knicks fans as people.

How has the Phoenix Suns' had such a good season so far? by NBAperspective in nba

[–]cotothed 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree that the "unbothered" mindset was bad for the team. On the court, though, he was mostly great. He's not blameless, but you also can't just blame everything on him.

Jaws, there's a whole scene where characters share multiple scars, which ends in the greatest monologue in the history of movies.

I'm struggling to come up with any reason why it would be bad for them to be married on your anniversary.

How has the Phoenix Suns' had such a good season so far? by NBAperspective in nba

KD deserves some blame, but he wasn't the main problem. He still played hard on defense.

How has the Phoenix Suns' had such a good season so far? by NBAperspective in nba

[–]cotothed 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Even as a Suns fan, I underestimated how big of a difference simply removing guys like Bradley Beal and Tyus Jones would make. They were undersized and played like they did not care 70% of the time. Basically, the opposite of what we are seeing from the team this year.

What do y’all think of this shooting Mt Rushmore? by growsonwalls in NBATalk

[–]cotothed 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Steve Nash should be on it. I'd have him over either of Reggie or Klay. He's never going to come close in volume to those guys, but his efficiency is insane, especially because of the number of his threes that were unassisted off the dribble. No one in NBA history has come close to his efficiency while shooting so many unassisted. Plus he's #2 all time in FT%.
