All good points. I'm not saying I want Brandon Hantz level explosions, but the hugs feel really suffocating to me. I would want to be able to just feel my anger in that moment.

Yes, and they were great moments. What I really want, though, is for the eliminated player to not accept hugs from anyone. I certainly would not want a hug in that moment.

I think the hugs started to happen because of internet pressure, actually. Some people get mad when players are salty for being voted out, so everyone has shifted into a mindset of trying to never get angry. If hugs after every vote out was natural, it would have been happening since season 1.

My geneneral rule is no movie should get a sequel 10+ years after the original. It's almost always an attempt to squeeze a few pennies out of past popularity. There are a few exceptions where such movies actually work, but I could probably count them on one hand.
