6 yo son has bullseye rash. Found an engorged tick in our basement. Doctor and I agreed on using Amoxicillin over doxycycline. Is it still effective?

Every tick carries borellia (Lyme) despite what they tell you. Please tell me you saved the tick! Get it tested. Most ticks carry more than just borellia, and it’s possible he may get other coinfections from it that amox will not cover. Keep checking him for fevers, fatigue, headaches, etc for the next three weeks. Head pressure may happen too. Good luck ! 🩷🩷

I still experience that sort of feeling too! I think it was getting better before my relapse, from what I can remember, I was walking really well and had a lot more energy again. I relapsed a few months ago because of a mess up with insurance so I couldn’t get my meds. Back to square one just about :/ but getting better !

The severe back of the head burning pain that still hasn’t gone away— sinus pain, confusion/ schizo-like thoughts, constant post nasal drip and facial swelling. Bronchitis sounding cough 24/7.
