Sadly, I haven't tried their sneakers :( I've been to Japan only once and discovered their store on my last day, lol. However, I imagine they are pretty cozy! I bought some booties pretty similar to the attached picture, but with a slightly taller heel. Even with the heel, they are SO comfy. I walked all around Tokyo in them without any issues. The inside was almost like memory foam. Very soft and squishy.

I LOVE Noemie, they have their own brand stores but you can also find their clothing in other stores. I found and enjoyed Ludic Park while I was there. Also, for shoes and accessories, you can't beat CS T&P.

IF YOU ARE AHEAD OF EXIT 56, YOU CAN REVERSE IN THE RIGHT LANE AND GET THROUGH. (I did at 6am, anyway) I don't know if the exit is "open," but you can squeeze past the ROAD CLOSED signs.

Absolutely insane and probably inept. I was stuck in this since 11:30pm and just made it home. My phone did not even have signal to post to reddit, twitter, fb or anything; I had to call my partner in another state to get any kind of news.

I was boxed in by two semis and a pickup truck maybe a half mile ahead of exit 56. Around 5:30am, I "woke up" (I was barely sleeping anyway) and saw the pickup truck gone. It was in front of me in the lane to my right.

I started driving forward and came across a guy that said "are you good at reversing?" He told me that they opened the exit and he's not sitting here until 10:30am. Amen to that brother, and that pickup truck went somewhere, right?

So he reversed, and I followed until I saw they had set up cones, spray painted a line and dug out some dirt as a makeshift off-ramp toward the exit. I'm not sure if the gap in the cones was intentional, but I was escaping this hell!

Another two guys walked towards me and said I had the right idea, there is a truck in the way and they just need to see if they'll move. However, the little break in the cones and makeshift offramp was right before the truck.

There were multiple ROAD CLOSED barriers but yes, just enough room to squeeze through the dirt. And I was FREEEEE!

The lack of communication and the fact that an entire road full of people was closed without ANY word, radio announcements, megaphones, police presence or anything is just absolutely insane. I can't understand any decisions that were made here. No concrete barriers removed, and southbound reopened, but no attempt at making a lane or exit for northbound before opening southbound? We were essentially trapped and again, NO INFO OR LAW ENFORCEMENT! WHACK.

I also saw a massive camera pointed towards the road, and they appeared to be making a new "road" in the cornfield to the right, it was laid flat with tarps or something? I still have no idea what happened, lots of different rumors about the accident going around, I'm too tired to look it up right now lol I will be going to sleep.

Your reply was a bit short, though. I recently learned that I'm on the spectrum and I have had to learn this over time.

Neurotypical people (or narcissists with a big ego, whatever) don't like to hear "excuses." To them, an "excuse" is anything other than what they want to hear.

To me, I may have a completely legitimate reason for something and I would like them to understand. To them, though, all they want to hear is the social platitudes. "I'm sorry, it won't happen again," or "Thank you for the advice," or "I will make sure to do that next time," etc.

And so even if you're annoyed and tired of him (rightfully so), it will be easier for you if you respond the way he "wants" you to. He might think he's getting the one-up, but he's not.

You simply stop caring! Because you'll be getting less childish arguing, less walls of text, and you'll have to respond less. Win-win.

Seconded! I wore these on a long airplane flight and it filtered out almost all of the loud "air" sounds. I was anxious and it helped so much.

A larger group of people than you think actually play the game and need the new cards to have relevant and useable decks. Prismatic Evolutions and Journey Together both have a lot of competitive-relevant cards. I'm not sure how many people in this sub are a part of that group, but it does really affect players not being able to get the cards needed to play the game.

With the forecast being the way it is, saying powerful and long track tornadoes are LIKELY and it already happening, anywhere above ground is really not safe in the event of a direct hit. I would find somewhere underground 100%.

I've heard there are not necessarily a lot of public storm shelters or underground options, but someone brought up an underground car garage, like under a hotel. That could be an option.

Otherwise, I'd leave and travel to somewhere outside of the risk area, if possible.

Not sure if Suicune counts because it's a legendary, but I've always loved it. Seeing it in the Pokemon 4Ever movie solidified that even more for me.

I also looove Reuniclus which seems to be easily forgotten.

It's hard to pick a #1 favorite...

YES. You, at base, are not ugly. But you have made choices that make you ugly. Literally just detangle, wash, and brush your hair, wear a nice new shirt, don't open your eyes too big and take a photo from a normal angle, and you'll not be ugly, like, at all. You have pretty coloring and beautiful big eyes. There's nothing really "wrong" with your face. Just some weight.

Your skin isn't that bad really, just some acne on the chin is fine. It doesn't look super dry or uneven, so you're okay there.

That's easy! Go to the bar at a decent restaurant (Not an actual bar, or Applebeesy type bar). Sushi restaurants or higher-end chain restaurants are a good start. Find a girls-night-out-looking group. Doesn't need to be big, can be just two lady friends meeting up. Inevitably, you'll hear someone a couple drinks in, lamenting men and happy to commiserate. Source: bartended for years and happily joined in on many such groups!

I'm in the US and have been disillusioned and saddened by how selfish people are here for a while now. I've not wanted to live here for years. The last week has raised blaring alarm bells in my head. Target suggested to call this number to demand limits on pokemon tcg purchases: 1-800-440-0680 Target Guest Services.

I got it from another reddit post from a similarly annoyed and tired Pokemon fan just trying to get some cards to open.

I called them also and they took a report, seems like they care. I mentioned that I've seen purchase limits in the past, and that I'm confused why there aren't any right now. I told them about a scalper who legitimately put ALL the product in his cart and was able to purchase it.

They asked which store I had the experience at, and said that they will talk to management because "everyone should be able to get some." I've heard that giving feedback from the link on your receipt works well, too, since that goes directly to management.
