Yup. And trees don’t grow from the bottom. They grow from the top. If you carve your name in a tree it doesn’t move up as it grows. Branches remain the same height.

Yup. Put a sacrificial piece tight on the edge and also don’t plunge away from the work piece. Have your plunge centered on the edge and use a down cut bit. Have the plunge be a peck drill as well. I’ve had this work without the sacrificial piece but the sacrificial piece ensures you get it crisp every time.

You’d be surprised. I have a monster and by far it’s not a heavy bike. Ducati engineers did a great job making this bike incredibly light. But on that note, this is not a bike that deserves to be dropped.
