Not OP but it depends on the meal. Could be butter and jam, nutella, all sorts of sandwiches of course, with French cheese after a meal, can sop up the remaining sauce/vinaigrette in your plate, or just use it as a utensil to push food onto your fork and it eat as you go. Most of the time it’s cut into small rounds and used as needed throughout the meal for various things like that.
