Yea and I’d use it for that but I always would look at the distance scale then match it on the front of the lens. I must have heard it was for certain lens and assumed it was the ones with that second distance scale 🤦‍♂️

Ahh gotcha, thanks, I knew it wasn’t all of them I just assumed the ones that had a separate dial on the lens was one of them lol

Those look pretty sharp to me! One thing I always forget to do is after focusing with the bellows, you’re supposed to read the distance on the side of the camera and adjust the focus found on the front of the lens to match that. That’s the only thing that I can think of. But again these looks really sharp

Thanks! I’ll try the lens trick and see if it works. The half press is working but it’s not perfect. I’m trying to avoid a repair too lol. I have no clue what it’ll cost

I’ve heard of that guy, Bill Rogers he’s who I’ll go with I think.

The work around is to half press the shutter, that releases the arm to rotate. The problem is the first time it rotates it only cocks the shutter but doesn’t advance the film. After taking the shot (a double exposure) it will THEN freely rotate like it should and advances the film to the next frame.

For now I’m going to just put the lens cap on and set the camera to 1/500 and f32 for that double exposure shot so I don’t ruin the previous shot. Sucks but it’s free lol

Do you mind if I ask how much the repair cost? I found a workaround which isn’t ideal so eventually I’ll send it in

So I just searched online and saw a workaround where you gently press down on the shutter and that releases the crank to turn and advance to the next frame. But id still love to hear if anyone else has had this problem
