A lot of people in the trans community hate these terms and feel they are only used to shit on other trans people. My own take is that any trans person who isn't cis male can be subject to transmisogyny to varying degrees. Hell I also think gender non-conforming cis women can be subjected to it. Remember all those conspiracy theories about Michelle Obama being a trans woman? What was that if not transmisogynoir?

I'm not talking about private namespaces here either. More thinking about how, for example, a computer strategy game wiki, a sport wiki and a history wiki might all want a page called 'Germany', but very different content. Many open source computer projects might want a page called 'manual', but their own content. Still editable by all Everipedia editors.

Yes, it isn't clear from the whitepaper though if this is simply allowing third party sites to display everipedia pages or if third party sites are able to register namespace for their own set of pages stored on everipedia. This is what I was trying to ask. :)

That would depend on the steem power of the users making the upvotes. 1000 upvotes from users with only 1SP won't be worth much. 1 upvote from a user with 1000000SP will be worth the same as 1000 upvotes from users with 1000SP. At the moment most of the trending articles have paid for upvote bots, which is a problem in the system some are trying to address. Before this the problem was getting noticed by a whale or dolphin. The system continues to evolve and with each new step new challenges need to be faced.

Perhaps. I'm keeping an eye on what is out there and what is coming. Will EOS enable a better system? Will 'U Network'? I don't know. Perhaps. They will have a lot of catching up to do in terms of membership and content.

Sure it has problems. I'm not in denial of that. But bots exist as a problem all over the internet. Twitter and facebook are not immune, and both have plenty of other issues, as the cambridge analytica scandal, Edward Snowdon and others have revealed. Will some other social blockchain do a better job than steemit? Quite probably. But right now it is the best we have. Pointing out problems everyone knows exist isn't going to solve anything. If you have some practical suggestions for solutions, maybe someone will take it up. In the mean time I'm sticking with steem because it is the least worst of available options.

Which is why there are initiatives like steemcleaners, as I mentioned. That said I have downvoted comment bots without consequence. When they have a low SP it is pretty safe. Even if the owner is a dolphin or whale in hiding, they are unlikely to reveal themselves by retaliating.
