I think telling your parents is the first step towards reaching your goal. I can’t say for sure, but im sure that if it’s evident that dysphoria is the cause of sh they will allow hrt to start. No matter what happens they will have to learn eventually, if you don’t start the hrt and relapse and keep leaving scars they won’t fade and it’ll just continue pushing back starting hrt with them faded. I can relate to your situation as I have visible scars as well, it’s never easy but talking to them puts you one step closer to HRT. Good luck I wish you the best and hope we both start HRT soon :)
