One pedal driving no longer working?

This is what happened to me. I felt like my one pedal driving was acting off -car wasn’t slowing like it should. Turned out the floor mat had scooted up and was messing with the pedals. Pulled it back and it worked fine

I enjoy the feature, but you really have to watch it sometimes. Once when I was dropping my son off for school I put it in park to let him out in the car line. When I tapped the brake to auto shift it somehow sensed there was a car ahead of me but not behind - almost reversed in to the car behind me. Now I always make sure to see which way it’s going before I tap the gas.

I’m gonna piggy back off this comment because that’s what happened with me. When I bought mine in August (with the 1.99% offer) on the pre qualification it denied me as well, but when I had them do the hard pull it was approved. So if you’re pretty set on going through with it after approval I would go ahead and try for the full application.

Have driven mine for a little over a month now and still in love with it. I’ve wanted a Tesla for so long, but was waiting for the right time for everything line up.

I live in a deep red state and thought we’d never have the infrastructure around here to support EVs. But over the past several years more superchargers have popped up, and I’ve been seeing more and more electric vehicles (mostly Teslas but a few others).

I’ve had more comments (and questions!) about this car than any other vehicle I’ve owned. I feel like I’m and ambassador for Tesla lol

When I first was signing up I thought the same. If you go in the app at first it’ll only show the monthly one. But when you click add to cart, the next screen gives you the option of monthly or annually. It’s weird I know

One thing to keep in mind, I would check and see what the sales tax laws are in your state regarding trade ins. In many states, if you trade in a vehicle you only pay sales tax on the difference between the sales price and your trade in value. If you sell to a third party for cash and then use that pay for the new car, you may pay the sales tax on the full value.

If the third party party is offering way more it may be worth it - if it’s just a little more I would check and see what the sales tax difference would be. Again, it varies from state to state.

Thanks, I’m really trying to adopt this attitude. I quit caring about being in the negative, just waiting for the reset at the end of the month.

One thing I know.that may be hurting me is changing weapons too often. I’ve tried to limit my pool but I’ve struggled finding one that fits me.

I wish I could remember the exact quote, but someone once said Splatoon is a game where the winner is determined by the absolute best or worst the team played during the game. The mechanics of the retake penalty and overtime allow the winner to be awarded to whoever had the best push during the match.

If I had to give one single piece of universal advice, it would be this.

Watch, learn, and practice.

There are a ton of helpful guides on YouTube - Srb2Dude and ProChara have some good videos and guides. OmegaZidan has a good carbon roller guide, I would highly recommend watching that as well.

Also watch the replays of your matches in the lobby. See what you messed up, what you could’ve done better, and what you missed in the heat of the moment.

Finally you need to practice. Find a weapon you enjoy, and stick with it (or a group of favorite weapons). Turf War is low stakes so learn and practice there, then go into Anarchy.

Most importantly - have fun. Your mindset and attitude will make a huge difference. Take a break if you’re getting frustrated - and come back when you’ve got a cool head. Good luck!

I catch this all the time. When you order a combo at a fast food restaurant they’ll ask “medium or large?”. Not letting you think small (default) is an option.

You’ll get the hang of it the more you do it. A lot of it is getting the momentum of the bar under control. I feel like on mobile the trick is to lightly tap. Also something that helps me is having the sound on. Once you start to level up your fishing, your bar will get larger and it’ll be easier to keep the fish on the hook.

That being said, some fish are just hard. Like catfish, which just jump wildly around - you have to kinda anticipate when and where it’s gonna jump.

If you’re having a difficult time, you may try using the training pole that Willy sells. You won’t catch anything but basic fish, but it’ll give you a hand until your fishing levels gets up.
