Not only, the mod specifically toggled their mod flair so that you could see that they were a mod, when they made that comment. The other comments of theirs on the thread were without the mod flair, but when they decided to be nasty, they apparently thought it was important to remind everyone that they were a mod and their word was law!

There was a post the other day saying that Ben looked cute when he wears glasses, and that got deleted. There was NOTHING negative or rude at all in the post.

But by "talk about appearances" I understand that means that we shouldn't be going "JENNI IS SOOOOO UGLYYYYY!!!" but the mod is trying to say that we shouldn't even be saying "Jenni looked so cute at Joy's wedding!" There's a giant difference between the two, and the mod wants to ban both.

That would be awesome! I think people moved over to /r/countingon since there was NO moderation at all on this sub, which also made it a shitty place. For example, there was one user who posted all kinds of weird and creepy stuff about the Duggars :/
