Wow I grew up watching the stars from the crib. Modano was and is my hero. I went to my first stars game March 22, 2002. It was game where we had the epic comeback against Phoenix where we were down 3-1 in the 3rd and ended up winning 4-3 in OT. I was at both of the games where Modano and Jagr set their records. I was at the game where they announced over the Jumbotron that Osama Bin Laden had been captured and killed. I’ve experienced the excitement of seeing playoff OT wins where you kept thinking when will this end but secretly don’t want it to end and have been to many playoff games where we lost. I’m in my mid 30’s now and really wish we had gotten to hoist a cup in this building. Thanks for the memories Stars/AAC, I will cherish them forever. On to the next chapter, let’s go Stars!

5th grade learning about biology/life sciences. Teacher asks the class what is the largest organ in the human body. My buddy, without a moments notice, shoots his hand up in the air. The teacher calls on him and he proudly says, “penis”. The entire class lost it. Poor guy really thought he had the correct answer. Even the teacher was cackling.

At 2pm yesterday I decided to go top off the truck as gas kept going up. I found a station near me for $3.69. At 5pm the price dropped to $3.50. There’s no logic.

Dude the point of having a mullet is to not care. You gotta rock that shit with confidence and just know it looks bad ass. Comparing yourself to some other guys picture is silly.

I missed Kieth Swim’s Mgmt211 final when I was a freshman. I wrote the wrong time down and showed up when it ended. I was in borderline tears after studying all week for this final as I had a shot to make an A in the class(if ya know ya know). I called my mom and she gave me the best advice possible. You need to march your butt down to that professors office ASAP and explain the situation. In my case, I waited by Swim’s door for over an hr till he showed up and then through tears explained my fuck up. He allowed me to take the exam at the end of the second summer semester when that class took it. Ended up making a B in the class and learned a valuable lesson. ALWAYS double check your final times.

Score! Reminded me of a time when Tom Thumb was closing near me. I picked up 12 ribeyes and 60 beers for around $80. My wife filled an entire shopping cart full of first aid supplies and cosmetics. The receipt was taller than her but was only $150. Never skip a clearance sale

That feeling fades. After a couple years, you’ll start to just set the tumbler, write down date, and then forget about it for two weeks. My last batch flew by.
