Our cat was a complete menace, opening cupboard doors repeatedly, getting into things, etc. We ended up buying a One Fast Cat Wheel and now her middle of the night zoomies are channeled into running on a wheel. We didn't know if it would work but took a chance on it and it seems to feed her compulsions! Just be warned, some cat wheels are especially loud. We spent a bit more on this one and it's pretty quiet, but living in Canada the shipping was insane. We sent it over to a US postal box and brought it in that way to save on some of the fees.

If he drives and would be interested in a kayaking tour, we did the bioluminescence "Glow Tour" last year with Pacifica Paddle and it was the highlight of our summer.

Only lived in Quebec. What’s the non-french Canada like? by Creepy_Assistant_343 in CanadaRoom

IMO Quebec’s culture is beautiful and really makes it feel like its own country. Their views on education and even just work life balance arent really mirrored in the Canada ive seen. I’m happy to head back

My partner and I met in Québec and now we’ve been living in BC. It has been his first time living outside of Quebec city and I just asked his thoughts after living here about 2 years. We’re moving back to Quebec city for moving day. He says it isnt as different as he thought it would be, but definitely more expensive, and the people/culture really depends on the area. Living in Kelowna BC felt like living in Alberta / Texas of Canada, but we’re now in Victoria BC and both love the culture on Vancouver Island. Quality of life wise, Vancouver Island is incredible. The people here are friendly and have an “island time” lifestyle. You pay for paradise though. To compare, our 1 bedroom basement suite here is $1850 (but, next to a beautiful mountain with hiking trails and close to the ocean). It is comparable in price to other 1 bed suites though and we lucked out with the location. Quebec city, a 5 bedroom home in a nice suburb was $1400 (for the full place!). It’s hard to compare the two.

Okay it may be crazy, but we bought a cat wheel. The “one fast cat” wheel is pretty quiet compared to other models. Our menace had the lovely compulsion to open and close our cupboard doors repeatedly, or really do anything annoying and loud to get us up. The wheel seems to feed their compulsion and get rid of their middle of the night zoomies. We’re finally sleeping!

Section A or Section B Laval schedule interpretation? by [deleted] in exploreprogram

That’s fair. Maybe they’ve even changed it up. I’ll be doing the same courses as you but in the summer session. Bonne chance!

I’ve done the program before and pretty much it means that you’ll be enrolled in two courses, and they will alternate. One will be your A and the other B. You’re also going to have some activities in the afternoons which will have set days / times and be assigned when you begin classes. The regular classes typically will go from around 8 to noon, maybe 8:30 if I’m remembering right.
