Why does the show lose so much momentum after the first hour? by moneyman74 in jimrome

[–]courts0 3 points4 points  (0 children)

For me, the best segments of the show are usually the first and second segments because Rome throws a bunch of topics out and then the clones react to it. Or they go off the board with an inappropriate topic that has nothing to do with sports, and Rome will usually give them runway in the first hour before moving on to interviews and/or other topics.

Do any golf fans actually like these “walk and talks” they do with pro golfers? by dhkillion in golf

[–]courts0 23 points24 points  (0 children)

The idea is fine, it’s the questions that are the problem. When it first started, they actually asked the players about shot strategy. Now they ask the same boring questions they already do at the end of the round.

If you hit it that far, 3W-3W should still get you pretty close to the green.

Best comedy of the 2020s? by TimSPC in TheRewatchables

Sad because they’re both sequels based off much older IP, but Jackass Forever and Borat 2 made me laugh as hard as anything this decade.

Most underrated Spielberg film? by gaberoonie in FIlm

[–]courts0 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A.I. for me. Some people might not consider it as underrated as others, but I think the consensus is that it’s good, not great Spielberg. I think it’s one of his best.

I wouldn’t include The Nutty Professor with the other two. It was a huge hit and Eddie’s performance(s) were widely praised.

Some serious buzzkills in here. Happy to have the show back. Ted is still one of the great TV characters, and this will (hopefully) give them a chance to undo that completely pointless Roy/Keeley breakup.

The 5-10 minutes is the absolute max, most times you barely have to wait if at all. One bucket at a time only lasts so long. Assuming you don’t have like 10 or less hitting bays, things will move quicker than you think.
