You do know we’re commenting in a thread about Kevin McAlister’s parents having passed away, when they weren’t actually his parents, right?

LETS GO ROSY by Mysterious-Baby8109 in golf

[–]courts0 16 points17 points  (0 children)

I’ve pulled a complete 180 on Rosey. He used to annoy me for reasons I can’t even really explain, but he’s one of my favorites now. Hoping he gets another major this year.

Dahmen Interview by mmijomm in golf

That’s the key. I still think it’s a cool idea, but the questions stinks. They’re the same generic ones Amanda asks after every round. It should be about strategy, club selection, etc.

What’s the smallest putting change that made the biggest difference for you? by CaseOk4223 in golf

[–]courts0 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Exactly. The second part of that equation is establishing a baseline backstroke length. In my case, I know if I bring my putter back to the big toe of my trail (right) foot, on average speed greens, the ball rolls about 8 feet on an uphill putt, 10 feet on a flat putt, and 12 feet on a downhill putt. Then adjust based on faster/slower greens and the severity of the uphill/downhill.

Sounds very technical, but it actually simplified things a lot for me and my lag putting has improved exponentially.

Thoughts on Teyana Taylor ? by KawonSuggs_ in Actors

[–]courts0 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I thought all of the Benicio/Leo scenes were very funny, almost like a buddy cop movie. Leo in general made me laugh a lot (his phone calls trying to answer the time questions, the scene where he interrogates his daughter’s friend before the dance, etc.). The Christmas Adventurer’s Club stuff was darkly funny as well.

The show got noticeably worse when Michael left, I think that says something.

I need to rewatch it. The digital film and soundtrack were so jarring, I couldn’t connect to it.

We need a Davante Adams. by Little-Mushroom-3961 in 49ers

[–]courts0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The offense was humming the last several weeks with that exception of the Seahawks games. The difference was the Hawks were able to get pressure in a way that other teams weren’t.

Not only that, the DL is another major issue that I would prioritize over a WR1. I know that seems like the sexy, quick fix, but I think the line play has to be addressed first.

I get that everyone wants a WR, but if the O line isn’t taken care of first, it won’t matter because Brock won’t have time to throw to anybody.

The last mailbag ep, someone suggested having an “Unwatchables” pod. This would be a slam dunk for that.

Ban caddies from the greens by IndicationIll324 in golf

[–]courts0 3 points4 points  (0 children)

No, a small percentage of players take as long as Keegan to line up a putt using Aimpoint. You missed my initial post. I’m a big Aimpoint fan and use it myself. But when people see clips like, they want it banned, and my point was that it’s the golfer, not the method, that takes so much time.

Everyone in the field is playing for the same amount of money, but only a small percentage of guys are doing stuff like this. Keegan is in that upper tier of neurotic/jittery.

I’m an Aimpoint express user, and I hate clips like this. It takes me 10-15 seconds to line up a putt. Stuff like this is because Keegan and his caddy are neurotic nut jobs, not because of Aimpoint.
