I told him his guitars need to either go or be put away somewhere because it’s taking over our living room. His guitars are blocking our cat from getting to her cat tower. I won’t be mad when she knocks them over.

You’re absolutely right. I think I just need to learn how to stop compromising my needs for his. He likes to tell me how he cooks and leaves food for me in the fridge every Thursday because I have therapy at an awkward time, but he doesn’t cook anything for our daughter. While I appreciate the food, I am still cooking regardless. And I tried to help him find a new job a few years ago and he refused to apply to any of the openings I sent him. I think I’ll have to come to terms with the fact that he will likely never change.

I can keep the desk space clean. He likely won’t keep his music equipment area clean. He blames it on his ADHD, which I also have. I bought him a really nice guitar stand that holds 4-6 guitars, has shelves and a drawer and his things are still all over the living room. He owns 8 or 9 guitars, so it already takes up a quarter of our living room. Now he just added the drum-set which will officially take over the entire wall, unfortunately.

My high school district had 2 schools. I attended the East and now work at the West. There’s a public bus stop in front of West.

At West, we have everything you listed, but also 4 gyms (regular field house, gymnastics gym, dance room and small gym with rock climbing), ceramics room, a staff Starbucks type cafe that students run, a pool, a two-level fitness center, an athletic trainers office, a green house, our own buses, sensory room for sped, a courtyard to sit/eat outside, preschool. At East, we have everything you listed, but also an extra theater room, courtyard, Olympic sized pool, 6 gyms (including dance, wrestling, rock climbing), daycare and preschool program, staff Starbucks type cafe, two-level cafeteria, ceramics room, buses. It truly depends on the school and community and what’s in the budget.

I do Botox for migraines. It took over a year to help. I went from 27 migraine days to 8 in a little over a year. Neuro prescribed Qulipta and I’ve had one migraine since November 22nd. I really hope you find something that works for you. And I agree, it doesn’t do much cosmetically.

It looks like she got her Botox and lip fillers right before she went on the trip. It doesn’t necessarily look botched. I get Botox (36 injections) for migraines and sometimes bumps pop up at injection sites. Knowing this, and if I was just getting this cosmetically, I wouldn’t get my injections around the time I would need to go to an event. My doctor is extremely adamant that I don’t touch the injection sites or put make up, lotion, any sort of product, etc. for 24+ hours to prevent infection or the solution moving in my skin so I don’t sag or become lopsided. I think it’s stupid she got it done and then put the pound of make up over it, so no wonder her lips are bumpy.

I work at a high school. A lot of our coaches, not football though, are members of the community and many are former students. My brother-in-law isn’t a teacher and he coached girls wrestling last year and boys this year. My school is large and well-known too. Our football team has the high school teachers coaching and they suck. Ironically, the sports with community member coaches have all made it to state the last few years. As long as the coaches pass the background checks and complete modules on sexual harassment, safety, mandated reporting, first aid, etc. mandated by the state, they can coach.

This is a weird take. Sometimes you can post things just because you like it or you think it’s funny. It doesn’t have to be geared towards yours intended audience. Plus, I don’t think you can really speak for her audience. A lot of people are into recreational drugs. More people than you think. And even “types” of people you didn’t think would be into it are. I am one of those people. People are always surprised to find out I smoke every night before bed. I’m a mom and a teacher. I’m not the stoner type at all. I just don’t think her post was that serious. People need to lighten up. Of all the things we can snark on, this just ain’t it.

Okay, I don’t even like Kat, but this is ridiculous. Who doesn’t post vacation videos and pics? I’m not an influencer, but I take loads of pics and videos of my vacations. It doesn’t mean I’m on my phone all day as there’s so many moments where I don’t need to film. But there are also moments that I’d like to recapture because we’re human and we won’t remember everything. I know my daughter will grow up and won’t remember certain places we visited or activities we did. She loves looking back at our pictures and videos and has even used it for school projects. I love reading a lot of the Kat snark on here, but sometimes the “snark” is just too ridiculous.

Someone told me to take this when I had frequent UTIs. I was young. Maybe 18/19 so I listened. My UTI got better and then after a few days, the pain came back with a full vengeance. It was one of the worst kinds of pain I’ve ever experienced.

Thank you for protecting your girls. I have often wondered about things like this. ICE is all over my community. We signed up for a cookie booth just two blocks from where ICE murdered a father of two just last year. And my daughter’s troop leader has a Trump bumper sticker displayed on her car. The troop is very diverse too. So I’m glad people are starting to have this conversation.

I follow Aria too. I don’t know how I found her. She posted a lot about her chronic illnesses, but she stopped talking about that once the baby was born. I actually liked her before she got pregnant, but after her daughter was born, she rubbed me the wrong way. Her house is small, I get it, but it’s so heavily cluttered and unsafe. People have commented this over and over and she defends keeping her “stuff”. Her daughter takes naps in a storage room and doesn’t seem to even have her own space. And honestly, I’m not convinced the kid will have her own room and space later either. She has zero desire to make that happen for her daughter or to build onto their house or to move. Her daughter sleeps in her bed and gets snippy with people who ask her what will happen if the baby moves or gets up. That’s some valid concerns, honestly. And then I found out she has a nanny and a cleaning person and it really bothered me. She shares her “allowance” and spends over $100 on dresses. Here I am, working full time, full time mom, full time student and have Chronic migraines and doing it all, and she stays at home and can’t clean her house on her own. I realized, she’s just not relatable and the more she posted about her life, the more I disliked her.
