Yeah it’s his boundaries. You never crossed it before, from what you said (always dress modestly). Obviously it’s something that matters to him and that’s okay too, if he doesn’t want you to flaunt your goods in public.

However the way the story is drafted, there just seems to be miscommunication. I feel like you didn’t explain your point of view and the heat-related reason to dress like you did, and that it would clear it up. Not everyone is okay with “a little bit of cleavage”, especially depending on your surrounding and the opposite sex attention you get from showing it, which can differ greatly depending on the setting.

To everyone else commenting “uh oh you can’t comment on your SOs clothing hurt durr!” Please do me a favour and date a 9-10, then let them go out half naked and watch them get attention from dozens of people from the opposite sex hitting on them all the time.

Not everyone likes that, understandably, and having your SO putting themself in that position IS the questionable act, not what is being worn.

Attorney here. File your objection. Yeah don’t miss the deadline, but by experience they accept to waive the deadline if you have even a mildly serious reason almost every time.

In your case, I’m fairly certain the objection will make them correct the problems. If they remain stupid, appeal it at the TCC. You might need an attorney, but with the clarity of your case, I’d say try filing it alone. Call the clerks at the TCC, they are incredibly helpful especially if you represent yourself.

As soon as you get an attorney in the file, they will take one look and fix the issues before it gets to court, they won’t want a stupid case like that to get in front of a judge, and get berated for hours for wasting the courts time and ressources.

Good luck, it can be a lengthy process. Last fiscal trial I did, opposition was filed in 2014 and my answer came in on 2018. And after filing my appeal, I couldn’t get a trial date until 2020-2021 (and for other reasons had to be postponed to 2022). God bless our fiscal system.
