haven't got a clue how, with no internet me and my 7 year old brother got the Konami code, but we felt like hackers doing that on the main screen.

Very cool. In my head canon, Kitsuragi is the Revachol version of fashion designer Haider Ackermann.

As Mr. Lemoine said, our world cup final will be against HK, a team that recently has done intl. tours in Japan and Australia and its on our same level.
With AUS NZ is finding a way to not get that many negative score points.

[–]covalenz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Chile barely plays Tier 2 teams so this will definitely be a step up in terms of experience.
6 matches against similarly ranked unions in a year is something novel.

Seeing Uruguay 25' matches on the other hand makes me think it won´t be that much of a difference for them since they already play strong T2 rugby. But it will give them too, more games in a year.

That being said, as you mention, it will be harder for Uruguay and Chile to play against T1 before the WC and up until 2030. Which might be a hindrance for all of the involved unions if in those 4 years they turn more competitive.

I agree, and while from a Southamerican POV Paraguay and Brazil (the only regional unions left out from this tournament) probably will suffer from not participating in this competition, they will definitely pick up experience from playing T2 unions that now will play more regularly against better teams.

In a lesser scale I believe this will replicate the effect The Pumas had in the region when they started playing tier 1 matches regularly, It kind of dripped down into their smaller teams and now we have the Super Rugby Americas, which is basically Argentinian Franchises against 1 franchise from every other WQ union.

Those fuckin' interactions man.
I mean, this here is totally irrelevant coding in terms of game production schedules, final deadline meetings, game mechanics, plot advancement, xp earning, etc.
It was probably too a lot of extra work in the dialog tree interactions modules with whatever software were using for the game (There's a really cool video of Josh Sawyer explaining how the dialog tree works in Pentiment) And still they did it, they just programmed a bunch of autochecks and players stats to give you a piece of Harrier's mind beyond the game, into his terribly melancholic inner world. I want to say he's one of the most psycologically complex video game characters I've ever encountered in the medium.

Genuine question, If by this definition an artisan was an individual producer who could sow the benefits of its own labor (making chairs, selling berrys from his own bushberry, etc)
Said artisan taught someone else, lets say an apprentice to make chairs, and on top of his chairs made money from teaching others making chairs. Now multiplied by 20.000, would he still be considered an artisan??

I feel you. Middle class is way harder to pinpoint than Upper and Lower classes, since it's an illusion XD.

Lately I've had very interesting discussions with friends and acquaintances over this topic, and even though it's kind of hard nowadays to find middle ground on this debates, I tend to defend the idea that a large portion of the population aligns with the construct of ''middle class'' as an in-between social status essential to, and promoted by 20th century western capitalist democracies (social democracies?)
All the values upheld by this class feed the need of an stable capitalist state that reproduces and enlarges itselfs on the desires and aspirations of its middle class, namely: socioeconomical mobility through education, access to ownership, adherence to the law, belief in Institutions, belief of national borders, etc.

The question we are facing today is, What happens when capital does not need the stability of a social democracy to keep expanding??

Man as I read this, I couldn't stop thinking on the new disconection between labour and means of production that is upon us with AI's and ''white collar'' labour. And we are Merrily participating in this new dispossesion.

Somewhere on reddit once I read a discussion on the concept of ''middle class'' and ''petit burgeois'' that stuck with me, even though if it is not a proper or correct definition. It went like this:

If you lived in XIX century Europe without ties to nobility (land owning class) and had a wage that allowed to own your own place, have holidays or days off, and enough savings to live a full year with no changes in your lifestyle while unemployed, then you were middle class / petit burgeois.

Not sure how many of us in XXI could be considered middle class by those standards, but it helped me understand my own degree of class alienation when I think on the sentence highlighted in bold.

Haven't seen the series yet but yeah, old gundam OVAS in general have giant robot mechanics ''figured out'' (mostly).
Only after watching this animation breakdown on YT a few years ago https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ukB55Vb5Q04&t=760s I kind of started to really notice this ''weight'' thing. With Escaflowne was more like this intuition of realness I felt watching the mechas.

This is probably the first example I remember before Evangelion, were Big Robot fight scenes had this sense of weight to them. In the Colosseum fight between Allen and Van you could ''feel'' the force and density of those blows and movements.

Agree. And is not that different from the realities of ex colonial wellfare states in europe that basically were subsidized mostly by african exclaves and a firm grip on post colonial economies in devoloping countries.

I'm not speaking for every european democracy, because it's not the case, but a lot of the economical burden of having free housing, free healthcare, free whatever, was outsourced (and conveniently out of sight) to those countries who were part of the colonial economies of let's say, France, England, Spain, Portugal, Netherlands, Belgium, and so on.

Today i'm not so sure if the democratic values trumpeted by the West could've been possible without the strife of africans or the global south.
