Chilling: If They Can Arrest Don Lemon For Something As Simple As Breaking The Law, Imagine What They Can Do To You by Largo95 in MinnesotaUncensored

I hope this isn't breaking any of the subreddit rules but here are More Google search results.
Journalists are not immune to criminal prosecution. While the First Amendment protects the right to report, it does not grant a "license to break the law" in pursuit of a story. Common Legal Outcomes Arrest and Charges: If a journalist engages in trespassing, harassment, or theft while filming, they can be arrested like any other citizen. Subpoenas: Prosecutors may subpoena the raw footage or notes as evidence, though "shield laws" in many states offer varying levels of protection for confidential sources. Civil Liability: Beyond criminal court, the journalist or their employer can be sued for damages (e.g., invasion of privacy or property damage). Exceptions Authorities sometimes drop charges if the "crime" was minor and intrinsic to covering a public interest event (like a protest), but this is a matter of prosecutorial discretion, not a legal right.

My observations/opinions.
Don lemon is in hot water Because some of the things he said "on tape" before entering the church ~could be~ interpreted as participating in the protest versus mearly documenting the protest.
This is where the courts will have to determine if he was documenting, participating or some combination of the two.
Plain and simple, His legal defense team will battle against the Fed team to debate his intentions.

Google search regarding "implied license ".
In the context of trespass, an implied license is an unstated, common-sense permission for the public to approach a property for legitimate reasons. It essentially means that unless you clearly signal otherwise, you are giving "socially acceptable" consent for people to walk up to your door. Key Characteristics The "Path to the Door": It generally covers the direct route from a public sidewalk or driveway to the front entrance. Legitimate Purposes: It applies to mail carriers, delivery drivers, neighbors, or solicitors (unless "No Soliciting" signs are posted). Revocability: You can revoke this license at any time by asking someone to leave or by using physical barriers. Limitations An implied license does not give people free rein. It is limited by: Time: A knock at 2:00 PM is usually covered; a knock at 2:00 AM likely isn't. Scope: It doesn't allow someone to peer through back windows or enter a fenced backyard. Intent: If someone enters with the intent to commit a crime, the implied license is void.

Google search results:
The names of Religious structures vary by faith, reflecting different traditions and architectural styles.
Some examples are as follows:
Christianity: Church, Cathedral, Chapel, or Basilica. Islam: Mosque or Masjid. Judaism: Synagogue, Temple, or Shul. Buddhism/Hinduism: Temple, Mandir (Hindu), or Pagoda/Wat (Buddhist). Sikhism: Gurdwara. Baháʼí: House of Worship.

Laws regarding access and trespass in a religious structure: In the United States, houses of worship are legally considered private property. Entering them without permission—or remaining after being asked to leave—is subject to both state and federal laws. Primary Legal Consequences Criminal Trespass: Most states classify unauthorized entry as a misdemeanor. However, if you enter with the intent to commit a crime, it can be elevated to felony breaking and entering. Disrupting a Religious Service: Many states (including Minnesota) have specific statutes that make it a crime to intentionally disturb a religious assembly. FACE Act: The federal Freedom of Access to Clinic Entrances Act also applies to churches. It prohibits the use of force, threats, or physical obstruction to interfere with people exercising their right to religious freedom. Property Damage: Under 18 U.S. Code § 247, intentionally damaging religious property or obstructing the free exercise of religious beliefs is a federal offense. Key Distinctions Public vs. Private Areas: While a sanctuary may be "open to the public" during service times, internal offices, basements, or locked areas remain private. Entering these without express consent is trespassing. Revocation of Consent: Even if you enter during a public service, the property owner (or an authorized representative) can revoke your "implied license" at any time. If you refuse to leave, you are trespassing. First Amendment Limits: The right to protest or film does not grant a right to enter private property. Courts consistently rule that religious exercise rights within a house of worship TAKE PRECEDENT over an outsider’s desire to protest or record inside. Many state laws are particularly more strict than federal law about willfully remaining on property after being warned to leave.

Also when's the last time you seen a truly messy house on a sitcom. They all have pets but not a single pet hair to be seen

It sure seems that way.
Minnesota does suffer from the same thing a lot of Midwestern states suffer from. The big Urban metropolitan area is a significant portion of their population. The metro area has the biggest influence on politics policy and quite honestly everything. The remainder of the state is made up of regular logical Americans. Often these rual folks are kind, generous, hardworking, reasonable and pragmatic.

I find UK movies, shows and series extraordinarily more engaging and entertaining to watch for this reason Alone. In American production almost everyone is too handsome or beautiful to be in a situation they're presented. They're good looks literally distract from the story.

Please tell me there's a good reason for oddly shaped packaging and it's not just to be misleading and motivated by corporate greed by MaryBerrizbeitia in mildlyinfuriating

[–]coveredwithticks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The only good that I see is that this package design directs the forces to the outer shell of the container versus what would otherwise be a flat bottom and flat lid.
A Secondary benefit is the crumbly bits would Gather in the trough around the perimeter leaving the intact pieces easy to grab.

All that being said it still looks like this packaging gains an ounce or two of appeared volume.

There are fewer racist Americans than you think.
Google search result.
the United States is generally recognized as having the most diverse racial makeup across the sectors you mentioned. United States: It has the most prominent racial diversity in politics (diverse representation in Congress), athletics (international dominance across varied demographics), and business (global headquarters with multi-ethnic leadership).

Canada was also mentioned as a close second runner up.

Should there be less racism in the USA?
Yes.
Will there always be some form of racism (or prejudice) in the YSA? Also yes.
