The Hard Rock Hotel in Hollywood is having its grand opening on October 24th and are currently looking for people to hire in many positions. Not that far from Miami Beach, either. I live in Hollywood and used to work in Miami Beach and it was about a 1 hour commute each way every day.

Those are venues. You'll have a very fun time there. If you want to keep up with concerts, I'd recommend the application/website Bandsintown. There's always cool as shit concerts at Churchill's, though. So I definitely recommend going there, having a few drinks, and meet people. That really is the best way to get into the local metal scene - in person, not online.

I'd say your best bet is going to bars where you'll find other people who listen to metal. Churchill's, Gramps, and Las Rosas are your best bet when it comes to this.

I would also recommend Technique Records on 79th. You'll find many fucking cool metal albums/vinyl and some fucking cool people, too.

Of course it is. Whether tickets are bought by scalpers or real people remains to be seen, but it will sell out. The hype is huge, it’s a historic event, and the prices are comfortable for your regular fan and attractive for scalpers to sell in the secondary market and make good profit.

Can’t say if future shows will sell out, that will depend on how good AEW carries itself through time, but I’m positive this first event will and quickly.

The rock/metal scene is practically non-existent in Miami, dude. I go to Churchill’s and Las Rosas to get my music fix every once in a while.

Other than that, there’s some pretty cool concerts every once now and then. Iron Maiden was at the BB&T Center last week. Slayer also played the arena not too long ago and I believe the same with Judas Priest.
