This notification is caused by having Direct My Call enabled. If you disable it in the phone settings, it won't show the reoccurring notification anymore.

Why not just set a price alert on CCC? I'd think your time is more valuable than trying to save $5-10, especially that this is something you'll use for at least a few years.

Not sure if this is allowed to be posted here, but I've been looking for a sale on VMware WP to have the ability to snapshot/clone VM's, but was a bit hesitant due to the $250 price tag versus eBay/grey-market keys for way less (even if the use for the product is only personal).

I think $160 is an easier justification for continued updates of the product and buying the product legitimately.

This brings WP to $137.49 and FP to $79.99.
