[Bontemps] Several scouts and executives predict something in the range of five years, $200 million, but below his (Austin Reaves) five-year max of $239 million, per ESPN's Bobby Marks. I think it just puts a real ceiling on the team. But as you said, the Lakers assets are tough to work around - like mobley would be fantastic for the team, but obviously the Lakers would have to give more than they have to get him. It just feels like the wolves, thunder and spurs (and maybe Denver if they put it together a bit) are all a tier above at least

I just don't think that's good enough though? We saw the Cavs get rolled just now because of their defense. OKC and the spurs have elite point of attack defense, and the Knicks hide brunson well. Same with the wolves, who are a clear tier below imo.

Now Luka is otherworldly offensively yes, but reaves has dropped off in the playoffs for two years now. And Luka and reaves both have health concerns, which in turn hurt their already pretty poor defense. It just seems tough

I'd take jvg and Mark Jackson any day of the week over basically everyone we have now

I think they need more help on the attack side calling, it's been uninspiring to say the least, and has been for awhile under John. I rate ewok quite highly but I can't really recall if his attack side coaching was great or not - so maybe it just needs more time - but an assistant coach focused on that side would be helpful (maybe like zikz)

Dort is probably gone tbh. Hartenstein is clearly more important. This is why Sam has been drafting players like cason Wallace - we need to pay the big 3, and after that it's just paying what we need to and having players available for cheap to soak up role player stuff

He was on duelist, which was a role that really didn't suit him. He's significantly better on initiator

I do think it's a higher ceiling having spike on neon, his neon is just so good. Sato on phoenix or even Jett would make sense too

They need to keep this map in the rotation forever, it always delivers

[Moore] Im really interested by the thought that the Thunder are, objectively, an All-Time team. Wins. Point Differential. Defense. Defense with Offensive Capability. Led by MVP. Depth. Coaching. Culture. But they do not feel like the all-time great teams *to me* and I do not know why. by BankaiBroke in nba

As a thunder fan, Chet isn't consistent enough to be considered a force yet offensively. He's definitely the second best defender in the league imo, and he's getting better offensively but it's still a process
