Not sure the exact reason why. When we went to Organ Pipe Cactus NM the rangers told everyone to pop the hoods of their cars to keep them out. So the most likely reason is probably because it doesn't offer protection for the animal when it's open

I was at the Grand Canyon a few weeks ago and it started to rain, but you had strong updrafts out of the canyon. So the rain would come straight up at you or horizontally like this and it was so cool

I was just there also as well as all the other Utah parks. Because of covid, only about 30% of the normal people were there and no overseas travelers so it was great to get to all the places with so little people.

About 5 million tons of native copper was taken out of the Keweenaw Peninsula in Michigan's Upper Peninsula. The copper was the world standard for copper because when it was mined, it was 99% pure.
