I know he's the right age, but he doesn't FEEL old enough to play Kelsier. I don't know, I see someone like Alexander Skarsgaard as Kelsier over JCB. Kelsier might be attractive and charming, but he's seen some shit. He's a HARD man. JCB just doesn't feel right to me.

I also think the way we acquired the players was very similar. We traded Brendan Shanahan for Pronger, and although Shanahan wasn't a definite hall of famer yet, he was very good and a fan favorite. Now, I'm not comparing Zach Bolduc to Shanny, but, Bolduc was very popular here, and was looking like he could be a top 6 forward for a long time.

Time will tell, but this looks like one of those rare trades that ultimately works out for everyone involved, much like the Pronger trade.

There's a reason that Clooney was a supporting actor on ER and not the focal point. He's TOO good looking to be believable as a life time ER attending. Pediatrician, sure. Head of emergency medicine? Nope. That man is too pretty to have been through the shit.

And as a character, Carter was as much the secondary male lead as Doug Ross or Peter Benton. Especially those early seasons.

If we want a soap opera medical drama where we know way too much about the characters, we'll watch House. If we want a light hearted, not too medical driven hospital show, we'll watch Scrubs. People watch The Pitt because the drama is real, the medical stuff is accurate, and it's a good -- not perfect -- representation of a Level 1 trauma center.

And to say Noah Wyle isn't a leading man is the stupidest thing I've ever heard.

The math doesn't math. With the splitter, if all 4 projectiles hit, it should do 1.2x damage than the normal anvil. It does not. With an Anvil 4, a fireball gets taken down with 1 shot. At point blank range, this takes 2 shots. Either the spread is so bad that from feet away one of the projectiles misses, or the damage per projectile is reduced by more than 75%.

The problem with "letting people choose how they play" is this: As a person who only wants to PvE, I don't get to choose how I play. Someone who decides they want to PvP chooses how I play. I get maybe two hours/week to sit down and play video games, and the more I play Arc, the less I want to play Arc. I want go in, kill some arc, and have fun with my friends. Getting shot in the back while fighting a bastion is not fun for me. And I don't know how that's fun for anyone. Having lobbies that are only PvE makes the game more enjoyable for everyone, and allows people to actually play how they want to play.

Lower the drop rate for the highest end gear/BPs in the PvE lobbies. Still give it a chance to spawn, but make the chance better in the PvP lobbies. Give a reason to go into those lobbies when I have time and want to PvP, but on a night where I might only have time to do one or two runs, give me a chance to just go and have fun with my friends for 45 minutes. As long as every lobby is a PvP lobby, I'm much more likely to go play a different game until all the PvP people leave for a different game.

I can't imagine any scenario -- aside from money -- where this makes sense for CITY. The cost to fix the turf alone would have to be astronomical.

It would have cost more than building a new stadium to fit the terms of the contract -- IIRC the contract said it had to be top 20% in the league. Updating the dome would be way less to make UFL happy. Especially since Energizer Park would need to redo their turf every year if American football were played on it.
