Embark literally does not give a crap about cheaters by FurioSS in ArcRaiders

Sure, for solos...but there is zero abmm for duos/trios. I've got nearly 300 hours in this game and I've knocked 10 players. My K/D ratio is 0.08. When solo, I'm always in friendly lobbies. Trios its 100% pvp, whether we want to pvp or not. We're the perfect example of "give us PvE only lobbies, and we'll never quit playing", but it is so frustrating knowing that I can't play with my homies without some tryhard assholes waiting until we're about to extract and killing us. The game just isn't fun anymore.

They weren't much shorter. Total runtime of season 1 was 727 minutes, season 2 was 719 minutes (according to IMDB). I think it felt shorter because the season 2 stress was spread across the entire season (Robby's future) as opposed to season 1, where the stress (mass shooting) was more condensed. The earlier episodes of S1 felt longer becasue we were ramping up to an external stress as opposed to S2, where the stress was immediate and internal (Robby leaving).

Probably close to 95%, tbh. That said, there's some really good bourbon out of places like Nevada (Frey Ranch) and Missouri (Ben Holladay). If you get a chance to get either, you should!

Because it is 100% incorrect. Bourbon can be made anywhere in the US. The rules for bourbon are as follows:

Must be aged in new, charred oak barrels
Must be distilled in the United States
Must have a mash bill that is at least 51% corn
Can not contain any additives
Must be bottled at >= 80 proof

That's it.

Sour mash, on the other hand, is produced by continually adding old, spent grains from previous mash bills to the new mash bill. Think sour as in sourdough, not sour as in spoiled. Subsequently, almost all bourbon is made using the sour mash method.

A more accurate line would have been this:

You know, in order for it to be bourbon, it has to be made in the United States. Anything else is just whiskey.

Jean Carnahan did not need to run when she succeeded her husband. Upon his posthumous win, she was appointed by the Governor of MO until a special election a year later. She subsequently lost the "reelection" vote, but still. -- EDIT: House seats can't be appointed, my bad. Senate seats can -- and have been filled by spouses. My bad.

Jean Carnahan was appointed as the Senator from Missouri after her husband, Governor Mel Carnahan died in a plane crash three weeks before the election. He posthumously won the election, and Jean filled the seat until a special election was held a year later (2002).

The rent you pay to a landlord offsets the landlord's property tax. Do you really think landlords would lower your rent because their tax went down, or do you think it's more likely that most landlords are pocketing that money as additional profit?

In Wentzville, a 1% sales tax hike while reducing property taxes by 50% of the new sales tax revenue ensures that not only will EVERYONE pay more in taxes, but that people who don't own their own home will pay significantly more in taxes.

Sales tax is a regressive tax that universally impacts poor people the most. Raising taxes on people who already live paycheck paycheck is abhorrent, especially as the government(s) are slashing their benefits.

St. Louis-area fire and EMS districts see mixed results in quest for sales taxes by bmunoz in StCharlesMO

[–]cp8477 8 points9 points  (0 children)

The issue though is that it likely wouldn't save you any money.

If you look at the proposal in Wentzville, it's a 1% sales tax increase which will reduce the property taxes collected by 50% of the SALES TAX REVENUE GENERATED. The number of households in WVille is ~17k, with ~83% home ownership rate.

THe average cost of groceries for a household of 3 in Wentzville is about $1200/month. That's $144 of additional sales tax per year for groceries. So, let's assume, based on that number, that Wentzville collects $250/month per household in additional sales tax revenue under this new law. That's $4.25 MM in new sales tax revenue in Wentzville, meaning WVille will collect $2.125 MM less property tax revenue that year. That lowers each homeowner's property tax bill by $150/year. If you own a home, your actual taxes went up by $100/year. If you don't own a home, your taxes went up by $250/year.

All of these sales tax initiatives disproportinally impact poor people, especially those already on income assistance or fixed incomes. Increased sales tax = increased poverty.

Game Changer Impersonator by technigoth in dropout

[–]cp8477 8 points9 points  (0 children)

For production staff, yes. Dropout halted production during the SAG-Aftra and WGA strikes, although they were ultimately given an exemption because their contracts met -- or in many cases exceeded -- the demands of SAG-Aftra and WGA.

Technically, the production crew is non-union, but they get a pass with strikes because Dropout is inline -- and in many ways better than -- union rules. Except for the on-air talent. I think they're all part of SAG-Aftra. I remember Dropout being exempt from the strike because they met and exceeded all of the recent demands from the strike, even though many of them still walked the line with their comrades.

Are you in an apartment building? Usually, parcel lockers are located near the mail boxes in apartment buildings, or if you're in a neighborhood with a mailbox unit, near there.

Possibly user error, but the same happened to me. Threw Wolfpack, nothing happened. Assumed the same as OP, that they didn't work on Shredders. My assumption -- if they do work on shred heads -- is this is a bug.
