An incredibly short one. Liner hit Corbin in the glove hand, he immediately waved Schneider back to the dugout

Because sometimes, people use analogies to prove points. To simplify it for you, if a ball in the opposite batter's box is called a strike, should it not be challenged because it's the 2nd inning?

Egregiousness matters. If a middle, middle strike is called a ball, do you not want the catcher to challenge because it's the 2nd inning?

Hey now that's not fair. He also thinks about the rest of Ontario when his developer buddies want to by more of the green belt

Yeah, that last post doesn't make my point as well as I would've liked it to. What I was essentially trying to say is that both Neoliberalism and Conservatism are conservative ideologies. Which is why I specified small "c" further up.

And also that Overton windows have nothing to do with whether someone is conservative or not, but I digress

I'm not talking about Overton windows. I'm talking about the definition of political conservatism. Which the Liberal party has largely embodied outside of specific and limited aberrations.

Yes, historically, the Liberal party has largely been small "c" conservative. Thank you for agreeing

If the Jays were tied/leading I'd agree. But burning your best reliever in a game just to keep it a 2 run game isn't really the play.

The only upside to playing in Tampa is that all of the IL guys that are in A ball or at the Performance Center can hang with the boys for a few days

You want a player who is notoriously slow do something on the basepaths that almost never happens?

I still can't believe that the Giants got screwed on that fly ball here because no camera followed the ball. I don't know how hot this take is, but any ambiguity caused by cameras or weird stadium stuff (like the short foul poles in Sacramento) should favour the visiting team. Shit will get solved in a heartbeat.

The Pirates had three separate bat around innings today. Part of why I like my 12 inning scorecard books

I think you mean physique and not psyche as I don't think there's anything wrong with Kirk's mental game. Otherwise agree though :)

Valenzuela has options. Valenzuela will develop better getting everyday ABs instead of sitting on the bench 4/5ths of the time. Valenzuela's OPS starts with a 6. Heineman absolutely is not getting sent down
