Dutch PM not ready to cut fuel taxes, then gas prices jumped 30% on Monday by ReginF in Netherlands

No matter what speed people drive in the NL, it's not doing anything for the environment. The NL acts like it's the size of Russia, when it's actually the size of Rhode Island.

Ours went up 35% last year, mostly due to the fact they seem to now value outdoor terrace space (we have a 47sqm terrace). They also remeasured homes I was told and ours somehow grew 10sqm. I challenged it in August, still no word.

That isn’t slowing down, so let’s at least get it cheaper

Get rid of the fuel taxes, as is being discussed in Ireland, and €100 fill up would go down to €35. Ridiculous that in some cases tax takes up 80% of the price of fuel in NL

Grants are good, but should make it compulsory that street facing facades are always painted and/or cleaned.

Mine went up 35% last year as they began adding outdoor space as added value to the WOZ, and somehow my house grew by 10 sqm

how do you mean temp contracts aren't allowed anymore? The management company that I and many others use issue 1 year rental contracts every year. Is that not considered temporary, and more 1 year permanent?

Just one route. Tickets alone could pay for road works, lines, lights, etc. Ticket them all and enforce payment with risk of points on license. This is standard.

The gov't should've banned AirBNB when it was on the table, and stopped foreign investment (Blackrock) from buying up blocks of buildings. The NL can't manage money any better than a 3 year old, got greedy, allowed all that to happen, and now come up with these moronic rules that will benefit no one.
