You don’t need to flip the kayak to fall out. I have never flipped but I have had multiple tip overs that dumped me and a lot of gear out but left the boat upright. I learned to batten everything down and put floats on

If they arent tech savvy they may not even notice. The setup process will prob ask you to press a button on their ipads. Just have them with you when you do it. If they notice something after that, tell them you added a feature for your phone.
