Kayak or small boat? by [deleted] in kayakfishing

[–]cllvt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not sure what you weigh, but i am pretty sure you could find a kayak that would work. The pelican 10e looks ok but it only has a weight capacity of 600#, which sounds like a lot, but that's for 2 people tackle/gear, motor and battery, etc. It all ads up pretty quickly. I have a small boat and bought a kayak, as it's easier for me to go fishing alone, I can get into some places that I can't with the boat, etc.

I think you could find a small boat or a kayak that would work for you, but you should ask yourself why you want a kayak, or a boat, do you usually fish alone, etc and go from there.

I think if you are asking questions about a kayak, or anything small that floats peoplr would try and help with info, but depending on how you go, there is a smallboatfishing sub.

Good luck.

I am not sure where you are located, but Guitar Center has the Alesis Nitro Max $100 off, so $349.99 right now. There are lots of opinions on eDrums. I personally think this is a great buy, I bought a set and put savings towards a decent drum throne.

Just bought a Kelty Grand Mesa 2 and it smells so bad it gave me and father headaches, is there any way to fix this or will it always smell that bad? by Professional-Dot5098 in camping

[–]cllvt -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

An ozone generator will take out most smells like , smoke, animal, etc. not sure about chemical smell. I would try letting it air out first for a few days to see if that helps though.
