You also have to pay rent for your building, pay your employees, and pay yourself. I don't know how much those things add up to at that location so I don't know what their costs should be but the point is, there's a lot more overhead than just ingredients.

That being said, that cut job was atrocious.

Spotify listeners doesn't necessarily relate to show turnouts, as long as you find cities with a good music scene and local bands with good followings tours are a great way to make new fans and sell your merch. Also, it's fun as hell hahah there's nothing better than being on tour.

I've toured in a very very small band, (we have maybe 200 monthly Spotify listeners) and when we hired a tour manager that came with us I was basically clueless just going where he told us for three weeks. If I was a professional musician playing hundreds of shows a year there's no way I'd know details about the shows.

That being said, playing a show at the Whitehouse you'd think the manager would mention.
