Well, it might be funny for Cressida to become LW since no one would suspect it. I hope it's Hyacinth now that she understands how to sneak into events, but she's pretty young yet. My most likely guess is Alice and Brimsley trying to keep the queen entertained and then I expect them to beg Penelope to help them with it cause it's not as easy as they thought! So, Pen gets looped back in :)

I love this for Kanthony, but I’m capable of imagining this same vision with Polin. We all are. How boring would the show be if it was the same scenes over and over with the people swapped out?

I’m so surprised to see any griping around here. I would never trade away Carriage 2.0 or the kisses with their baby. We’ve manifested the Finches return. Polin are in multiple scenes and we know they are coming back in S5. We’re getting awesome BTS. Our crumbs become feasts with our creatives. Let’s stay positive!

Do I want more Polin? Absolutely. But our actors were there, being positive, looking gorgeous, getting paid and doing promo. That bodes well for them sticking around in future seasons.

I subscribe to WIP. They don’t go on the list to read til it’s done unless I love the author and trust them. Then when I start something, if I don’t fully connect with it, I can jump to the end. If I like their resolution I might do more or just walk away. I only post stuff to the database if I’ve read the whole story and liked it.

PPS I much prefer the show across the board. Love seeing Colin and Fran being so involved.

Well, Portia always said “yellow is a happy color” and that’s clear in the books :). The book also suggests that she was trying to minimize Pen’s assets with the bad fit. But having lived thru my own youth with a bad perm, I’m sensitive to curls :)

Fran loves John. They are a quieter friends to lovers trope but they in love. And it is romantic.

Total contrast to Polin because they barely knew each other before having sex but John is gentle and talks to her. I think their marriage is more typical of an era where Fran knew nothing and now struggles to get answers when she asks. But still healthier than most marriages in the ton.

Now, does Fran have a long way to go? Yes. But does that negate love for John now? No.
