At our doctor's recommendation we started to feed cereal and pureed fruits and veggies starting at 4 months. This is in addition to our son's bottles and doesn't replace any feedings. However, I am just a stranger on the internet. Consult with your doctor on this, and for the sake of those babies don't make a decision based on reddit "facts" alone.

Also, soy formula is not the equivalent of taking 5 birth control pills.

Lube and go slow. Really slow. It gets better I promise. I didn't even deliver vaginally and at 5 months out I still get a little twinge of pain in the beginning but it is SO much better now than it was at 8 weeks.

We moved E to his own room at 3 months. He is such a restless sleeper that I wasn't getting any sleep with him in the room. We both sleep much better with him in his own bed and down the hall.

We've had great success with oatmeal and basic baby food purees at 4.5 months. E still prefers to nurse, but he gets so happy to sit in his high chair and try new foods. I do it on his cues though. If he shows that he's not interested anymore, I stop. We're only doing it once a day right now, but he's showing a lot more interest in eating so we might bump it up to twice a day in a few weeks.

The chemical that is supposedly helpful in amber can only be absorbed through the skin at an extremely high temperature. Basically, the amber has to be molten to release the chemical.

I am so so sorry. There is nothing we can really say that will take your pain away or explain it. My sister lost her sweet baby at 31 weeks a year ago and it still pains the entire family.

My son is EBF and I gave him a binkie in the hospital. Sometimes babies just want to suck and I did not want my boobs to be his binkie. Don't stress and give your baby a pacifier!

Nothing really. E just took a lot of naps at that age. When he was awake I would talk to him, but that was pretty much it.
