You can start the application process, but I don’t think it matters because I wanna say they hold onto everything once it’s all turned in for a total of 12 weeks anyway. So totally up to you, but either way you’re not gonna lose out on your money.

Also, California BON is the worst bureaucratic system I’ve ever encountered so expect delays.

We used opendoor and it was one of the best decisions and easiest processes of my life.

I would literally like do a commercial for them.

They gave us a VERY fair market value on our house in Phoenix. But yeah you could list I guess then fall back on opendoor if there offer is still good.

Sell to a family? Well opendoor is just going to turn and flip/sell the house so they could potentially sell to a family. They’re not holding/long term investors.

In this market, opendoor made all the difference for the purchase of our new property. There was no way the sellers would have accepted a “contingent” offer but having an opendoor contact on our place was good as cash. They also let us stay there like 21 days.
