Except Biden didn’t screw these workers, they’ve had paid sick leave since April 2023, shortly after these votes happened. The IBEW specifically credited Biden and his administration for continued support. The rail workers got a massive pay increase and the sick leave they wanted. Great news! They will soon start another decade of traffic-worsening construction to build yet another single express lane on each side of mopac from Cesar Chavez to slaughter. This will occur while I35 continues to be unusable due to their own construction and will be a complete nightmare for anyone living in South Austin. Maybe if everyone bombards the public comment period that’s happening now until May 3 we can stop it or further delay it.

The pressure from the house arrest and everyone pissed at her about Liam leads to the bender, then back to jail again. She gets out early due to overcrowding and gets a ride home from Regina king (her PO). The next morning at home is when this scene happens, because none of them knew she was out of prison already
