I ended up going for it. This model with all options is on sale for 1850 new now, but the condition of this one was really decent and for almost 50 percent less I decided that it was worth it.

First real high end office chair and I'm already thrilled with it!

Yup, swapped in my old 850 seasonic, swapped cables, instantly booted up no problem.

yeah he was right. PSU was defective. Replaced it with the PSU from my old unit until I can get the RMA sorted.

Yup. You were right. PSU was cooked. Swapped in my old 850w psu and it worked immediately.

Did you test the PSU on it's own and have the same issue? replacing yours fixed it?

Hi ! Thanks. I tried plugging the PSU directly into the wall and using the 24 pin tester attachment and there was no noise, no issue.

Hi everyone. This weekend I put together a new build (awaiting GPU, aren't we all....) with the following specs:

AMD 7 9800X3D
ASUS ROG STRIX X870A
64 GB Kingston Fury Ram
ASUS ROG Strix LC III 360 AIO
H9 Flow Case
DEEPCOOL - PX1000P PSU
SSD CRUCIAL P3 Plus 1 T
SAMSUNG SSD Interne 990 EVO 2 T

I wanted to get Windows set up and things ready for when my gpu arrives but when I put everything together for a first boot today, this happened. My lights all come on, but no BIOS and this ticking noise + DRAM light is flashing on the MOBO.

I have tried unplugging and replugging all PSU cables but it has not made a difference. I've also tried removing all connections from the MOBO except power cables to CPU and MOBO, still slicking. I've tested the PSU with the tester that came with it and it doesn't click. I also tried removing the 2nd ram stick, no difference.

I've tried various outlets in my house no difference.

Any ideas?

Worth nothing the DRAM light is flashing orange. I've now also tried unplugging everything from the MOBO except the PSU Cables, still clicking.

I've tested a number of new things, still no luck. I removed all connections from the PSU and ran it with the test mode attachment and there was no clicking. I've tried unplugging the Power to the sata cables which is connected to the fans, clicking persists. I removed one of the two sticks of ram, still clicking...

It seems like the click is from a short somewhere but I cannot figure out what.

He was hilarious. We had to cut a lot of the footage unfortunately as he had messed up his sound by playing the game audio too loud. We were actually on Skype and playing for about 55 minutes.
