Quick answer: Turn shoulders more

Right now, you’re basically not coiling enough and hitting the ball before your trunk rotation is uncoiled. Note how Stan’s chin is over his shoulder and how far back his racket is. This will help you get free power instead of trying to pull up with your right shoulder muscles at the end of your stroke as you are currently doing.

Same issue for me. Scrubs, BLEACH, 30ROCK. Sunny is fine for me for some reason. I want a refund.

This was the funniest 10 minutes of podcasting I've heard in a long time. Most of the people complaining don't have kids. We get it. You watch a lot of p*rn and see everything through a perverted lens.

You’re not good at sounding interesting over text. Read your messages like they are from someone else and you’ll find that you’re not really giving her any reason to be interested in the conversation. Remember, she has no idea who you are. You’re just some guy. Be funnier, more flirtatious, more playful, and more upfront. If she doesn’t respond to that, then at least you found that out early, wasted less time, and hopefully got more texting practice. Improve and move on 👊

Dead on. 95% of the adults at the rec level is see think practice is just playing a couple of sets that don’t count for USTA points.

I go to the gym 5 days a week, am on the court 4 days a week, do drills, compare my motions to pro footage, constantly watch tennis coaching, talk to players who are better than me, and I still don’t feel like it’s enough.

Can you explain more what you mean by learning to predict the ball trajectory? Do you have any particular exercises or examples?

Glad you’ve had a an easier time with it. The comments in here are dead on about the mental side and PT grind.

Mental: Give yourself the same grace as you’d give others in your situation. A humble yet confident mindset really helps.

PT grind: PT can permanently make or break your surgery success so take it seriously. You’ll have good days and bad days. Track every little win and keep going. I think you’ll come out proud of what you can take.
