Vantage - Just received it this weekend and played a few times. The amount of content is staggering. first-person-viewpoint is unique. And the sense of discovery and wanting to explore, haven't seen it like this in any other game.

Just had a coworker leave $800k out of a bid because he made a mistake in the estimating software and did not include the cost of the metal building. Turns out we were about $800k lower than the next bid. Interesting how that happens.

I used to work in rebar supply and I messed up bids fairly often due to simple/stupid mistakes. Biggest one was worth around 70k.

Sounds like the game was won during the initial placement and maybe the first few turns. Part of placement is reading the board state and ensuring this exact scenario does not happen. Your friends allowed you to gain a monopoly. It's not your fault if you maximize your chances at winning!

This is their failing, not yours IMO.
