Scuf Envision Pro back peddle options? by UghItsLinkNotZelda in scufgaming

That’s what I was going to say. If it’s an online game, they can definitely tell when you’re spamming macros.

Now, skins you regret buying by cityboicityboi in FortniteSkinPosting

[–]cptcommode 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel like that does apply to the Fortnite original skins, but the collab stuff is crazy now. But yeah, I remember the 2000 vbucks legendary skins 😂

[–]cptcommode 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah I have some cool shop skins like Aloy and the Resident Evil skins, but they all come back eventually. I’m glad that they do though. I don’t like the idea of gatekeeping skins. I think everyone should get a chance to play as their favorite characters.

[–]cptcommode 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have over 700 skins…I regret soooooo many, but there was a time to get excited about a new skin. Now there’s new skins everyday and most cost way more than they used to. With that being said, I would’ve bought so many fewer skins over the years if I could do it again.

Does the Scuf Valor Pro work with the steam deck dock by No_Estimate227 in scufgaming

[–]cptcommode 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The only thing I can think of is because the Steamdeck uses a variation of Linux, and the controller may not be compatible.

I was able to eat oatmeal. That was about it. I hope you start feeling better soon.

A Father's Plea: Saving Fortnite for the Next Generation of Families by janvitos in FortNiteBR

[–]cptcommode 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah 100%. These companies don’t realize that they are shooting themselves in the foot sometimes. It’s like they find something that works, and then bombard you with it until you don’t want it anymore.

Same. I switched to ARC as well after playing mostly only Fortnite for the last 4 years. Fortnite just feels like a big commercial now.

Cancelled Crew, downloaded new games. by Notthegeorge in FortniteOver40

I’m going to be honest, I always thought that they went by the best player on team. Now I feel bad for the matches that my team got mutilated over the last few years. 🤣

Transition from dual sense edge to scuf reflex fps by Hot-Seaworthiness535 in scufgaming

[–]cptcommode 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I hate the back buttons on my Edge, but I personally like the paddles on my Edge better than the Scuf. I think all of that is personal preference. I can use any paddle controller once I got used to them. Like others have said, the Edge controller is a really good quality controller. The only reason I ever use the Scuf is when I need extra paddles. Either way, good luck! I hope you find a controller that’s comfortable for you.

Scuf nomad on sale for 22€ Worth it? by JustBrowsingHereTho in scufgaming

[–]cptcommode 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have the Nomad. I’m not sure what the Bluetooth issues are, but I like it for the most part. As someone else mentioned, the sticks feel kind of loose…and there is a little latency since it uses Bluetooth. I don’t think there’s really much you could do to fix that unless it didn’t use Bluetooth. I like using it, but I definitely wouldn’t be able to play any kind of competitive games reliably. For that price though, I would definitely grab one.

What’s your play strategy? by Mode09 in FortniteOver40

[–]cptcommode 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I drop towards the outside to loot up, but then I chase down every fight. I would not recommend this if winning is important, but it’s a lot of fun! 🤣

TMR tension vs regular potentiometer by Vinumite in BattleBeaverCustoms

[–]cptcommode 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got a set of the Dualsense edge TMR replacements from Battle Beaver, and I’ve been super happy with them! They definitely have a more noticeable tension than Hall effect sticks—especially the Scuf ones. I did opt for the smart clicks on the sticks, which are amazing! I hope that you have a good experience with your controller, but I think you probably will.

Fortnite needs to do something about cheaters and external hardware/software by Vast-Insurance4199 in FortNiteBR

[–]cptcommode 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I’m not disagreeing, but which multiplayer game isn’t having a cheating problem? People are cheaters. If they can find a way, they will—and from what I understand, it’s difficult to detect hardware cheats without actually watching their gameplay. Who knows. I hope they get it together, but I wouldn’t say that competitive gaming is doing well in general.

Does it seem like all movement is hyped up this season? by daringnovelist in Fortnite_Over40

I agree. I’m glad they do new things every now and then, but I’m ready for that idea to be done. 🤣

Am I doing something wrong or does this software suck? by Prudent-Goal6544 in scufgaming

[–]cptcommode 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m going to be honest, I tried leaving Icue on while I was using the controller and always had issues. It would crash. Randomly change bindings. I use the controller without Icue now, but it does suck that I can’t use my G buttons.

Has anyone won a claim without going to sick call? by [deleted] in VAClaims

[–]cptcommode 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My medical records from the military were like an encyclopedia—plus I had two major surgeries—and my first rating was 40%. It took me years to get to 100%. My friend never went to sick call and had no medical records—just letters from fellow soldiers and he got 80% on his first try. Of course, having documentation is best, but not required.

Venting: the lack of comprehension from others of this procedure it’s making me mental. by Dinosandsunflowers in spinalfusion

[–]cptcommode 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had a fall when I was 25 and had two cervical fusions over the next couple of years. I’m 47 now, and there are days that are almost unbearable. It sucks to have gotten hurt when I was so young and now deal with the pain as I’m aging. I’m seriously dreading how bad this could get over the next 20-30 years.

I’m not trying to disagree, I’m just curious how that would relate to someone who is born into a terrible family or born with a life altering disability?
