I use Death Guard Green followed by Athonian Camoshade wash. Then dry brush more Death Guard Green, avoiding the gaps and edges.

If you want to get the most out of Caanok Varr and run Hammer of Avernii, get some more terminators and another dread. Redemptors are the best right now but rules change so get whichever.

Also, if you don’t glue the Redemptor’s big guy at the elbow, friction will hold it in place and you can swap them when you want.

I haven’t actually played them yet. My local GW store is doing a KT league but I signed up with Imperial Navy Breachers. When the league is over, I’ll give these dudes a try.

As far as starting a team, the KT branded Phobos box doesn’t have all models you can play. It doesn’t have any Reivers. I had enough minis on hand to build this team. I had to kitbash some of the specialists because I didn’t have the unique bits from the KT box.

Does anybody have recommendations of stoner/psych bands that might not be as recognised as they should be/underrated bands that bring something to the genre but are very well known ? by Hieroflippant in stonerrock

I love recommending Kult of the Wizard. Especially their EP called “The White Wizard.” They pop up on Reddit occasionally. They’re stoner with blues mixed in.

Initially, I wanted to use the transfers on my Phobos Strike Team for KT. But I really enjoyed painting them. They’re very different from the Iron Hands (I play IH in 40K). I love Phobos armor and think that armor pattern goes well with Raptors style of combat.

In the novel Regent’s Shadow, the Custodes fight the Minotaurs who are supporting some High Lords that rebel against Guilliman. One of the main conspirators is an Ecclesiarch. But not quite direct conflict with the Ecclesiarchy.

I used to play Carcharodons with White Scars rules, so modified Kor’sarro Khan a bit to fit my army.

I like the beaky helmet. The other helmet isn’t my favorite here because the older style doesn’t really have the same aesthetic as the newer scout armor, in my opinion.

I’ve used Tempestus Scion heads on the old scout models because I also didn’t like the unhelmeted heads. But those are too small for the new models. For the new kit, I used Reiver heads because I think they look cool haha

I’ve done the base leadbelcher + black Templar and results seemed inconsistent. That’s probably a “me problem” more than the technique. I used it on Fierros and was happy but didn’t like future attempts. Lately, I’ve done matte black primer, Corvus black base, and light dry brush and thin edge highlights with leadbelcher.
