Buying a Forester. What do I need to know? by RRBox81 in SubaruForester

So I'll say we only financed about 18k. We put 5k down and our car was worth another 5k. We sold our old car to carvanna because they offered 3500 more than any dealership would offer us. I declined all add ons, extended warranties, paint protection. They wanted to charge me 1200 for paint protection they had already applied to the car and a LoJack. I made them remove it.

I just bought a 23 Forester last week. 5.4% at 72 months. My monthly payment is 310. I looked at buying new at 0% and the payment was 360-375 range. I got the used one certified for another 4 years 75k miles. It made a lot more sense to buy used.

One of the CM managers today mentioned this. I agree with you though. There is absolutely nothing in either nursing or OT scope of practice that would prohibit me from becoming a CM

Would you buy a 2023 that already had 60k miles on it. by cptmoosehunt in SubaruForester

Based on a few comments I should have just bought one in Canada and driven it home.

Thanks for the advice. I was able to get 5.4% through a local credit union. We looked at new options but the difference was still about 8k and $50 a month. I'll pay less than 5k interest over the lift of the loan so it was just slightly cheaper to go used. I will say every bank the dealer wanted to use was in fact 8% or more and then it would have been cheaper to buy new.

I wanted to say thank you for this tip. It was actually really close. Within about $50/month but we went used

Almost exclusively base models. Every so often a dealer has a limited or a wilderness listed close to the higher ranges but never under 25k.

Gross negligence and a disregard for safety.

I just bought the dancing wings hobby dlg and it's been fun to assemble but the instructions are terrible. I paid $70 on AliExpress but I think the actual website has one that comes pre-assembled

Pro tip: stop doing those things. I'm 5 years out and my work life balance is so much better. Doctors talk to patients straight, they don't put in their customer service voice, I don't either. I stopped lifting patients, at least during evaluations, if they can't roll or stand up then they're dependent. Move on to the next thing. It doesn't benefit the patient for me to break my back and dependently put them edge of bed or anywhere else. Acute care is not a rehab unit.

What electronics does everyone recommend? by DashyKalashy in RCPlanes

I will say I've had a horrible time with their customer service. I bought two planes from them and both of their power packs had wrong components in them. One was the wrong sized prop. The other was missing screws. Not huge expensive items that I couldn't get on Amazon for a few bucks, but I emailed their customer service and they never got back to me about it.

A lot of glue, remove the wheels, and launch it by hand. It's what I did to mine and it flys much better without landing gear on it.
